We can't help you with your musical tastes, but we can help you remember your recent ski and snowboarding exploits with this Smith Holt helmet with Skullcandy Single Shot Audio system. It offers durable freestyle styling with a protective ABS construction. Smith applied their fast-venting goggle design into the helmet with a special AirEvac construction that optimizes airflow to keep the view clearer than conventional helmets. The Skullcandy Single Shot consists of a hand-free design with a standard audio jack that connects to all the MP3 and iPod players we could find. You can remove the connection cord with adjustable volume control if you want to use your own wires. The Skullcandy Single Shot also has a carrying pouch for the speakers, although we found that the empty pouch was sized right to accommodate an iPod or other music player when the Single Shot was inside the helmet. We thought the audio quality was good (better than most cheap earbuds out there) but certainly not a match for some of the top-end and expensive tiny earbuds on the market. That's probably a good thing if you tend to play rough on the mountain and your gear endures extra wear and tear. One more thing--the Matte Chocolate Finger Signs Holt helmet is by far the coolest looking logo design we've seen this season and we're sure other people share the same opinion, so if you want this model, grab it soon before Smith runs out.
