I purchased these primarily for the RX adaptor capability but they worked well without the RX inserts. They can still fog up, but a brimmed helmet and/or jacket hood can help keep the snow from blocking the goggle's above-the-eyes vent. Make sure to use the right lenses for your snow conditions - too dark is no good in whiteout conditions.

Fan is the only thing that has cleared up my fog problem. All other types of fog reduction goggles and sprays have not worked. Has improved my vision greatly. Highly recommended.
