Gnu Men's Park Pickle BTX Snowboard:
Snowboards, like some news networks, are not as fair and balanced as their producers would like you to believe. The cruel reality remains rooted in physics: Traditional snowboards require more energy (leverage) for heelside turns than toeside turns. That's why Gnu created their true-twin, freestyle-oriented Park Pickle snowboard with a separate (and deeper) sidecut on the heelside section of the board than the sidecut on the toeside area. This patent-pending, asymmetrical approach balances your feet so you make turns with equal effort. The Park Pickle BTX also features Gnu's Banana Tech for better control and turning. Banana Tech is a snowboard-specific camber that Gnu adopted from Lib Tech, a snowboard R&D company that created the Banana camber. Because the camber in skis and the camber in snowboards are completely different, someone needed to optimize the snowboard shape because riders have both of their feet on a single board, while skiers put one boot on each ski. Banana tech livens the traditional camber dead space between your snowboard boots for complete and consistent edge hold, so you enjoy a far more responsive ride on a variety of terrain. It also lightens the loads on the tips and tails so you're less likely to catch an edge in those places. Whether you're into riding in the park or pipe, and you're looking for a balanced snowboard that requires less effort than traditional freestyle rides, the Gnu Park Pickle is a refreshing alternative to the same ol' offerings from all the other guys.
