Great boots
I bought these boots for my son-in-law. He wears a size 13 and that is the size I bought. They fit him great. I did buy him some thicker wool socks to wear with the boots but he wouldn't have wanted a different size regardless. I bought him the bruno color and he loved them.

loved the boot but I have to say that my boyfriend is usually a
10 1/2 and he needed a size 9. it definitly runs big. but he loved it and the coustomer service here is the best ever.

Great Boots
Great boots, bought for my 20 year old son who would never wear boots before. Now he wears them, great style for a college kids. Really warm and waterproof and great in the snow. Easy to get on and off. Great purchase.

Great winter boots...
These classic snow boots are great quality, warm and extremely functional. Sorel makes the best snow/winter boots hands down, and are also reasonably priced compared to some other brands.

great boots
Excellent boots - would highly recommend them! A bit bulky and hard to store but in the heavy snow nothing can beat them! Nice color and look good even after you wear them multiple seasons.

nicely done
when I got these boots I thought they were to warm for me. I needed them to be waterproof and some what warm but not that warm. I was wrong when I went fishing and it was 20 degrees outside and freezeing but my feet were warm. nicely done!

Great Winter Boot
This boot is great for the wet and cold conditons winter can throw at you ! Had them for a winter so far and they have kept my feet warm and dry. Had other winter boots in the past but these do its job !! Yes I would reccommend to anyone living in winter country. If a half size, go down in a whole size. 11 1/2 to 11

Great boots!!
We love love love Sorels. These boots have been personally test by my boyfriend and I for many ski trips. We love the comfort and fit. They are super warm. They do tend to run a bit big. I am a woman, size 8 in Nike, I wear a 7 in women's Sorels. My boyfriend is a size 9 in Nike and wears a 9 in Sorels. This is for reference.

Caribou Snow Boot Men's
I needed a snow boot for my trip to Tahoe and my ski buddy recommeded the Sorel Caribou's and boy she was right! The Sorel Caribou is true to size, great fit, warm and cool looking:D

Warm but run large
Got these for winter use to keep my feet and toes warm. Really comfortable and warm but they run large. These will be good for snow removal but not for any activities that require easy movement.

Great boot
It seems to run a little big. Very warm, keeps feet dry. Great traction on most terrain. Picked up womens model for wife, she loves them. Probably a boot you can buy once and get many years out of before having to buy another. Nice to see a quality boot at a great price these days.

Great Item
Love my boots, I tough that I was not going to be able to use them because the snow was already melting down, but another storm hit us and they were great my feet were warm and a little bit loose but perfect, thank you.

Great winter boot
I had been looking at these for a long time before I decided to purchase them. I'm so glad I did. These boots are really warm and comfortable. They are great for most outdoor activities. I do plan on using them for snowmobiling as well. My only complaint is that they are very heavy. I would definitely recommend them.

Caribou Snow Boots
This is my second pair of Caribou. The first one finally gave out after 24 years! I have worn these on ski trips, hunting trips and recently early morning walks with the dog through the coldest days Chicago can throw at us and my feet never got cold and never got wet. I will buy another pair in twenty years.

Awesome
These boots fit realy well, have a removable liner that is very warm, loop on the back for easily getting into, heavy duty and the only caution I would note is that they are reasonably heavy boot. This isn't a problem for me, but could be for some.

Great winter boot, runs large
I wear a size 8.5, and bought an 8 (since no half sizes) They fit well overall, but if you have rather wide feet I'd be careful going a half size down. If I had to wear very heavy socks, my little toe would likely become immobilized. So if you like wearing very heavy socks in the winter and you're stuck in a half size, I'd recommend sizing up. But if you like wearing regular socks that you'd wear in sneakers, etc, then size down, or else your heel will probably lift in the boot.
In general, it's a great boot. Heavy, clunky, but does the job very well (I bought these to trounce around in the snow with the kids). They are very warm

good purchase
found the boot to be comfortable, durable, water proof which is essential for the mountain snow. Little heavy, but for the occasional trips to the mountains it's perfect. Now my better half is making me buy her a pair.

Sorel Caribou Boot - Mens
I bought a pair of Sorels for the cold Winter months in Germany to clear snow. The boots are not only comfortable, but also keep the feet very warm. They are totally waterproof and perfect for the job that I bought them for. Probably not suitable for whole day wear because ones feet get very warm.

Awesome boot!
These boots are fantastic! They last forever, the ability to replace the liner is awesome! Its better than buying new boots, which is what you have to do with the other style boots. My other pair I have had for 10 years and they are still in great shape. I can work and drive in these just fine, this is the only snow boot I will own.

Great boots
I ordered these boots the week before Christmas and they delivered exactly when promised. These boots fit extremely well (and I have very wide feet). I have not had to wear them in extreme cold, but they have been very warm in the weather in the Northeast (below 20 degrees). I can't wait for our first big snow this year to test them and see how they work keeping my feet warm and dry. So far - so good.

Sorel means quality!
I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my husband as a replacement for his other ones that were 20+ years old. They arrived in time, as promised by Altrec customer service. He couldn't be happier with the true to size fit, warmth and quality. The removeable liners are a nice feature and easily replaced if necessary. They are perfect for all of his outdoor activities - except shoveling . . . for some odd reason. Why is it that I am always the one left shoveling? I'm next in line for a new pair of Sorels!

Very good boot
This boot fits nice, maybe a half of size short. Very comfortable to put your foot into with a warm, comfortable liner. Right away you can see the superior craftmanship and design of this boot. Only down side is the boot doesn't pull especially tight around the ankle so there is some foot slide. On a scale of 1-10 I would say a solid 9. The width of the boot is good, the length runs a bit short. I wear a true 12.5 and my 13's just barely cut it. I can wear these boots even indoors and my foot doesn't sweat. The wool felt liner is great, actually the best I have ever felt. The nonslip tread design is very good, have not had any slips in snowy, icy upstate NY. As you see I have added much detail because I use cold weather boots often and know what most people are looking for in a boot.

CARIBOU BOOT
My husband loves these. He wears them on raining days and up the mountains. Very comfortable and they keep your feet nice and warm. These run 1/2 smaller than your regular shoes.

Best Winter boots!!!!
I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas so ofcourse he has yet to receive them !!!! I own the same pair for women which is why I got him a pair.. They are awesome!!! Your feet will stay warm and dry in these!! Everyone should own a pair if you live in a cold climate..( I am in New England) Have had mine for a few winters and they are still like new!!!! Great Boots
These are the perfect boots for getting to and from the ski lodge. They can handle the worst of parking lot situations and your feet and socks are warm and dry and ready to slide into a ski boot. I agree with the person who warned about driving with them on as they are big and can cause you to hit the gas and break at the same time. I was, however, able to get used to the feel and haven't had a problem. These boots can handle anything that Winter can dish out!!

Great Boot for Snow
This is my go to boot for snow removal. They slide on easily and the laces tighten easily. They are very warm and liner at the top really does keep the snow from coming into the top of your boots. I would not recommend these for driving though. The size of the boot can cause you to hit the gas and the brake at the same time. It's just something to be aware of when you are driving. Also, the boots are quite comfortable bare foot. I often have to slip these on and run outside to retrieve my dogs.

The Gold Standard!
Without a doubt the best after ski/board boot there is. Not a technical hiking boot, but for walking around town in snow, rain or any other inclement weather they are perfect. The D-ring lacing makes getting in and out of these boots super easy. Everything from the fit to the fur is very comfortable. Keeps your feet nice and warm even when it's freezing outside. If your looking for a pair of winter boots stop looking. These are it!

good boot
The quality of boot is great. Bought boot for my husband. He wears a 10.5 so I got him the 11. I figured he wld be wearing thick socks. When they came they were at least a size too big. This boot is great but it runs really big!! The 10 fits like an 11.

Great Boots!
These are wonderful boots! The only thing is the sizes run fairly large. I wear an 11.5 but am exchanging my 11's for 10's. Really warm, really comfortable. Look sharp too.

Make sure you downsize! I wear 11 1/2 in Asolo TPS hiking boots, so I ordered a size 11. Way too big, so am having to return them for size 10's.

Fantastic boot for harse winters
I purchased these boots in January 2008, so I have been using them for about one year. I mostly use them for shoveling the snow from my driveway during the long Michigan winters. They have done a great job of keeping my feet warm and have great traction. If I use two pairs of socks, my feet are on fire. The rest of my body may be cold but I can always count on my feet staying warm and dry. I was able to purchase them at a discount, but even at full price it is well worth the investment.

Great Boots!

Fabulous cold weather boot

Everyone I know who has a pair swears by them but be sure to downsize at least one whole size from your regular shoes as these boots run large and will pad out once worn in.

Great boot ; wide fit
The boots are very comfortable with a sturdy but not too heavy feel. I bought 1 size smaller than normal shoe size and they are borderline-short. I'll need very thick socks to fill the boots with narrow feet. Shipping was reasonably fast.

Super Warm Wuper Waterproof
these boots are fantastic. they're classic sorels. they crazy warm and waterproof. the only drawback with these boots is that they because they're so waterproof and warm, they're really hard to drive in because they don't flex very much. But you probably shouldn't be driving in them anyway!

Bad Rubber
I have purchased two pairs of these boots in as many years. Both pairs had cracks in the top rubber within 6 months. I will go elsewhere for my next winter boots. I am very disappointed as the Sorel brand used to be dependable.

The best!
I've used them in N. California mountains with a pair of wool socks. I was completely dry. Even pushing a boot through a low stream. Waterproof up two the last three inches for sure.

The best buy we ever made.
My husband works in the bitter cold here in Wyoming and has tried many types of boot to keep his feet warm. The caribou snow boot is the finest boot we found. The felt liner keeps his feet warm at below zero temps. We wouldn't have any other brand.

Everyone, My dad just gave me his old pair of Caribou...when i say old, he plowed snow in them back in 1976, yes 30 yrs old. Only thing that i have changed is the liner, quick and easy. These boots are awsome.

No Pain Involved

boots worked well on ice as well as being warm
My boots arrived a day or two before the nasty Oklahoma ice storm.Thus, I had the opportunity to break them in on 4'' of ice for over a week.The tread traction was great and the boots were warm. So far so good.I assume thAT THEY WILL WORK WELL IN SNOW. wE SHALL SEE.

Very god, very warm
The boots is very warm and surprisingly lightweight, haven't used the boots enough to say anything about the quality of the craftsmanship, but by the look and feel of the boots it will be very good. All in all a very nice and warm pair of boots.

They work
I don't really have much to compare them with since these are my first ever snow boots. My feet swim around in them, even with thick socks but they are warm and waterproof. I tried them out yesterday snowshoeing and they worked out ok.

A classic!
The Sorel caribou is a classic packboot. I've used them to to stand in the snow for 8 hours as lift op, work construction during the winter and for just kickin' around town when it snows. The felt liners do pack out after a season but the trade off is extra room for some war socks. Some things to know are: your feet get wet from sweat eventually-when working- so have a change of socks handy and they don't provide much arch support. other than that a great choice for cold weather

the best all round snow boot
I got my first sorels 2nd hand over 15 yrs ago. All i can say is that i want wear anything else and i just wish they made a snow boarding boot designed on the original. For the price you can't do better, not to mention they look cool when stepin out for to the bar.

Unbelievable Value!
Awesome Value! I can't believe how well made and rugged these boots are. When I laced these bad boys up for the first time, I thought that I could walk through any snowy and/or icy conditions with ease and warmth.
