Hard to imagine I actually considered buying other boots! I took the Cardovan and in this color Im just as comfortable in the city as in the mountains. The old-school styling put these over the top and I feel that canvas is actually a better choice than leather if your thinking about getting these wet and drying them off again.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueFebruary 16, 2011
Great product. This boot is extremely comfortable. On cold and blustery days my toes are warm. The boots also keep my feet extremely dry. While trekking around in the snow and rain I never felt my feet being wet. Boot runs big. I wear a 9 shoe and the size 8 boot fits me well.

Great warm boots!

These boots are really warm and waterproof. Have been great to have during the snowfalls we have had this winter, and they look good with jeans too. The grip on snow and ice is good, no accidents yet ;-) The fit is a bit tight, the innerboot always follows my foot when I take the boots off - a bit annoying, but probably a result of the shape of my feet.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, Cons: tight fitwon't regret it

I'm from Buffalo, NY and I would buy no other than Sorel. The are like tanks for your feet. Priced right, perfect winter boots for slushy NYC street corners

I recently bought this boot for my boyfriend and he loves them! He used the boots this past weekend in the cold, snowy weather of Chicago and they kept his feet toasty and dry. I love the dark yellow color of the laces because it makes the boots look more stylish with the pop of color. I also like the fact that the inner sock lining comes out so it can easily be cleaned. It does seem to run a little big so if you are in-between sizes, I recommend ordering down in size. My boyfriend normally wears 9.5 and the 9 fit him perfectly!

I wore these boots for the first time this weekend and I have to say I'm really happy with them. The liner is thick and very comfortable, and my feet never got cold in the snow. They were perfect for driving, hiking around in the snow, and even hitting the bars later that night. They aren't so big that you can't slide your pants over them, but you can also just slide your pants over the liners for the messy look. The only downsides are that the boots are kind of heavy, but thats just something that takes a little getting used to. Also you need to remember to size down, my shoe size is 10 but I bought the 9.5s and they are perfect.
nice!

I little more "low profile" that the classic sorel with the white fur at the top. I usually wear a 10.5 but these size 10's fit well.

Best boot for the $

I've lived in a cold, snowy climate for a few years, and have finally broken down and gotten Sorels. Wish I had done so a long time ago. For the price it's hard to find a better boot. Haven't had these long, but they've already done well in a foot of fresh snow, and -10 temps. My feet are still warm and dry. As others have noted, these things run a bit big. I'm usually a 9.5-10 depending on the shoe, and I ordered a 9. Even with thick socks they fit fine. The liners have a tendency to come out with your foot sometimes, but I'd rather deal with it and have a liner I can remove.
So far so good

I haven't had these for long. But they've been great so far. Warm & waterproof. Warmest boot I've ever owned. I've worn them in very cold weather. And some rain & light snow. Great old school look. Run a tad big. Time will tell how they hold up.
