I love these shoes! This is the second pair I've bought. They do have a short break in period because the fleece is a little stiff. After that, they feel like slippers. They are very warm and waterproof. I've never had water leaking when I walk through shallow puddles or snow. They worked like a charm in Michigan's sloppy, wet snow. This winter I was able to walk the dogs or shovel the drive without getting wet or cold. I work in my woodworking shop/garage year around and many times I wear these shoes because they are so comfortable.

No death wish

I have been in need of a replacement slip on that I can wear outside for a brief period [take the dog out; shovel a quick path through the snow on the deck] and spent a lot of time trying to find some footwear that didn't become a death wish. The treads on some of those could have been used a bowling shoes. The treads on these are just what I needed and even though they haven't been snow tested yet, they have treads and ridges that will grab.
