Sorel Cheyanne Premium Snow Boots
April 20, 2011

I live on a ranch in rural Utah at about 6,700 feet. We get lots of snow from November into May and if I need to go trek out to the barn, or do any light work or venturing out in it - I like to wear these boots. They are very dry, warm, comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I think of them as my mud & snow slippers. For the great price, coupled with Altrec's fantastic customer service they are a winner. They would be great for camping and general outdoor use most of the year. Keep in mind they tend to run slightly small.

Pros: Great value, warm, dry, comfortable, well made

I was looking for some boots to wear during the winter for walking the dog in the snow and heading up to the family camp. These boots are perfect! They are comfortable and warm. Exactly what I was looking for!

Easy On and Off and Warm
January 12, 2012

My favorite winter boots are my Sorel Caribou's. My only complaint with them is that they are a little clunky and I have to lace them up. Not ideal for quickly slipping on to go out in the snow. I was really excited to find these Sorel Cheyanne's which slip on and off easily and are less bulky than my Caribou's. Perfect for running errands, taking the dog out, etc. These definitely run on the small size. I ordered one pair in my normal size and they were really really short. Width felt fine. I re-ordered a half size bigger and these are better, but still not roomy like my Caribou's. Still feel great though and I'm hoping they last a long time.

Pros: easy on and off, waterproof, not bulky, warm, Cons: sizes run small, narrow toe box, wide heel

Sweet!
October 26, 2011

They're super comfortable, and super warm. I wear them on days that I'm feeling a little to lazy to tie the shoes. They're basically indestructible house slippers for me. While they do run a bit small, if you've a wider foot go up a half size, don't freak out when you cant fit your foot in the hole. The handy dandy pull tab on the back'll help ya slip your feets right in w/o much effort.

Pros: sweet

I wear a size 11 which were too snug and didn't allow for socks. Would recommend you order a 1/2 size up as I had to exchange the first pair(from a different supplier) for an 11.5 so i could get socks on.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Cons: Cost

Durability: 5 / 5

Great Snow Boot
February 05, 2011

Got these to use in the winter - out with the dog or heading to the woodpile. Love them - want to wear them everywhere! Fit is true to size - I'm a 8.5 and tried on a 9 at a local store - it felt too big, so I ordered the 8.5 - it's a good fit - but none to big. If you want to double up on socks - go up 0.5 size. Nice and warm - I do not wear them out for hours - but a walk with the dog - no cold feet yet.

Pros: Great design, Performance

Comfort and Quality
January 10, 2013

Received my Sorel "Cheyanne" Premium boots just in time to spend several days shoveling snow. Warm, comfortable, and supportive, these boots do what they claim. As with most Sorels they exhibit excellent quality and workmanship. I ordered 1/2 size large to accommodate thicker socks,; the size was just right.

Pros: fit, comfort, warmth, quality

Size Matters
March 12, 2012

These are great boots!. The Thinsulate makes them warm and they are rugged, but stylish. When ordering on-line be sure to go with a least a size or two larger then your regular shoe or sneaker size. I take a size 8.5 shoe and a size 9 sneaker. I ordered a size 10 and a size 10.5 boot. Both boots were easy on and off, but the forward edge of my toes touched the inside front of the size 10 boot. I tried both boot sizes with a medium weight sock. I kept the 10.5 boot. Be prepared to go up in size with these boots to avoid ordering the wrong size.

Great Boots
January 18, 2011

Living in Lake Tahoe, everyone has Sorel Boots. These are real nice, they look great, really good grip on snow and ice, comfortable, and completely waterproof. The downsides are that you need to wear socks, and your foot doesn't slide into them as easily as it should. And once your foot is in the whole leather upper part is a little loose. Fantastic shoes though; I wear them everywhere.
