Cute summery shoe; well-made

These are really cute; they're a step up from plain ol' slip-on sneaks. I'll be wearing them a lot this summer for sure. However, the sizing is odd. Normally Sorel shoes run 1/2 size too big. (My normal size is 8; my Sorel size is 7 1/2.) However, these particular shoes run 1/2 size too small! I'd read this in another review, so I ordered an 8 1/2, and they fit my size 8 foot perfectly. I probably could've gone with a size 8, but I think the shoe edge around the ankle/heel would be too tight then and cut in to the back of my ankle. I bought the red; it's pretty and low key. I think I'll buy the blue as well while they're on sale.
