Casual footwear for use in extreme cold, the Sorel Women's Crestwynd™ Snow Boot goes great with a wide selection of outfits while protecting your feet from the cold bite of winter. A water resistant suede upper acts as a fist line of defense against loose snow and chilling slush, much like the gusseted front closure with locking zipper. Inside, 200 grams of Thinsulate™ insulation efficiently traps heat for cozy comfort as you make your way through the winter wonderland. A cute Sherpa Pile™ fleece snow cuff adds character to the Sorel Crestwynd™ Snow Boot for women, while also doing its share to make sure that snow and slush have a hard time getting in through the top of the boot. To aid traction on frozen surfaces, the lugged sole remains malleable when most everything else is frozen stiff. Similarly, the waterproof rand and forefoot cap remain flexible even when the mercury dips below zero. The Sorel Crestwynd™ women's snow boot includes a removable EVA footbed that provides cushioning, support, and insulation. This boot is rated to -25º F (-32º C) during active use.

I've searched a long time for great boots and these are it! When they arrived I put them on, sliding my foot right into them without having to bend down! Same with getting them off....no problem! These boots are great, very warm and stylish in sage. My only regret is not ordering them sooner in the season, with all the snow we've been getting! Thanks to everyone for your sizing comments, too....I ordered a 1/2 size up and it worked out well--they fit comfortably and are easy to get on and off.

I love these boots. I just got them a few days ago. They are soft and comfy, but I am glad I ordered a half size larger. They will be okay as long as I don't wear a real thick sock. I will be trying them out for warmth in the snow soon. I like being able to slide my foot into the boot and zipping it up instead of laces.

I bought these boots for both my daughter and me. They keep our feet warm and dry while in the snow. I used them while standing for two hours on a ski slope watching my daughter race. My feet were warm and dry the entire time. (This is first time my feet have been warm while watching her ski race.) We both used them last weekend while snow shoeing. Again, our feet stayed warm and dry. They are great show shoeing boots.

I bought these for my mother for Christmas (in hopes she would quit wearing her tennis shoes out in the snow)and she LOVES them. I did read the previous reviews so I ordered a size up from what she usually wears (to accomodate her thick winter socks) ... with the zipper instead of laces, she has a much easier time of getting her shoes on .... they work perfectly in the snow and ice (no slipping since she started wearing them) .... she thinks they are very pretty and versitle ... all in all, very happy with this product!

i use this shoes all the time. it has been below zero here and even with thin wool socs my feet are warm. they are easy to go to the grocery store in and easy to take off and on. You do have to make sure to zip them all the way to the top or they will not lock and the zipper will unzip. I love them.

these boots are just wonderful. Warm and nice to wear. No shop in all of my country Denmark sell sorel-boots with zippers, only with shoelaces. It would be nice if someone told the shops here that they exist, as they obviously do not know. I saw them when I was on holiday in USA and bought some at that time, and now I just bought 2 new pairs of boots at Altrec.com. Great!

Good BARN boot too! I not only needed these boots for snow, but I have horses and a barn to care for in the mornings and evenings. Our temperatures here in Colorado have been in the minus zeros lately and these boots are working nicely to keep my feet warm and dry. I bought them for snow boots, but it was a surprise that they have turned into such a good cold-weather barn boot. Because of the rubber bottoms and the good sole they seem easy to keep clean also.

I love these boots. I live in Colorado. During the past month, it has snowed 60 inches. My Sorels have kept my feet warm and dry. The zipper makes them easy to wear and compared to other boots, they're quite stylish.

I've had this problem with other front zip boots, so maybe it's unavoidable. Fortunately, I'm not trekking long distances in them. In general, I'm very happy with the boots. Any tips on how to keep the zipper up would, however, be greatly appreciated!

Easy to get on and off, warm in very cold weather and has a decent grip (although in very icy conditions still need to be very careful). Nice heighth, and you can leave them unzipped also, without slipping up and down. Order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.

Definitely kept my feet cozy walking in the slush and ice in Alaska. My heel does lift some in the shoe when I'm walking because they don't flex at all, which is my only complaint.

Great fit, I ordered true to size - just after being out in the snow they do get wet. Mine have to dry out. Otherwise they are sturdy and convenient so I wish the actually were waterproof - THEN they would be PERFECT

This is a great boot for the elements, but I should have read the description better. I live in Louisville KY - so low temp aren't a problem. This boot is made for COLD temp. My feet burn up in it. Also if you have a high instep/arch this may not be the boot for you as it fits super tight in the instep where the zipper is.. all round good boot.

I bought these boots for my girlfriend and she loves them! I ordered a half size bigger and they are still a tad tight. Her only real complaint was that the zipper didn't stay all the way up while she walked.

Well made and comfortable, good quality. Took them on a 1.5 hour 4 mile walk through some wet snow the other day and water actually did manage to penetrate through the upper material - but after I got home, fortunately. During the walk I was fine! It did take awhile for them to dry. But for letting the dog out, perfect.
