Description

The all-time favorite Cumberland boot is being classed up with rich suede this season. Offering rugged durability and beautiful style, the Sorel Women's Cumberland Leather Snow Boots have a water-resistant suede leather upper to keep your feet warm and dry as you roam the Village in a swanky fur-lined coat or shovel snow out of your driveway in your Carhartts. Ready for -25F temps, these winter boots are lined with soft, cozy fleece and packed with 200g Thinsulate™ insulation, enough to keep them toasty but not too much to cause overheating the rest of the year. The cushiony insoles are removable and the EVA midsoles support your feet through long days of winter walking. A Sherpa Pile™ snow cuff looks lovely outside your jeans while the durable rubber shell keeps the rain, snow and slush out and the multi-directional lugs give you traction on any surface. Not just for your weekend in Tahoe, the Sorel Cumberland Leather Boots for women are perfect for everyday wear around town in chilly weather.

Best Boots I've Ever Owned!
January 13, 2011

I have searched all my adult life for a pair of boots that kept my feet warm, fit my foot, and didn't weigh a ton! These boots fit the bill and then some. AND they come in half sizes! This is virtually unheard of in the sizing of "snow" boots! It's usually size up and get blisters, or size down and kill the nerve endings in your toes. These boots are true to size, comfortable on my feet as well as my ankles, and I haven't even worn socks in them yet. They came just in time for the most recent snow event here in the South. I've worn them to shovel snow, go to the mailbox, and drive to a friend's house. No problem driving in them. I ordered them in the brown with teal with "snow-not show" in mind, but they aren't bad for show either :). I'm sold.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: haven't found one so far

They're okay
February 08, 2011

The boots are comfortable, and seem to have good insulation. The problem I have with them is the laces. The laces are really slippery, which may change as they experience more wear, but it's sort of annoying. When I'm lacing up the boots, the laces slip out of the top loops, while I'm tightening the bottom. Then, when I get to the top of the laces, the bottom ones loosen up while I'm tightening the top. It's not a huge deal, but it just seems like lacing shoes should be more straight forward, and less frustrating than this. I've never had a tall pair of lace up boots before, so maybe I'm just not the right person for these. They look good, though, so I guess it's a question of form or function! I don't know that I'd discourage someone from buying these, because they certainly have some good qualities. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to recommend them, though.

lovin my boots!
January 26, 2011

I received this boots just in time for ANOTHER snow storm! The first thing I noticed was how comfortable and warm they were. I went out frolicking in the snow, and not once did my feet begin to feel cold, or wet. The quality of the boot seems like they will last forever, with the solid tread and sturdy stitching on the upper part. Not only are these warm and durable, they're CUTE TO BOOT!!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Great snow boots
February 03, 2011

I got these just in time for the big ice storm and couldn't be happier. They fit great and are very warm. Even though they are true snow boots and so a little bulky, they are so comfy I can wear them all day long for errands or whatever. They are also really nice looking and I can wear them with jeans tucked in. Can't wait to wear them to go sledding with my kids!

Size small - actually a true size!
January 08, 2012

Boots seem that they will "foot" the bill except...... Everyone seems to be recommending a 1/2 size larger. I recommend a full size larger if you expect to wear medium to heavy smart wook socks. 1/2 size larger I ordered only accomodates the light weight smart woold socks. (I normally wear a womens 9, need a 10). Sigh. Had to pay return postage for same boot.

Pros: excellent price for sorels!, Cons: need full size larger not 1/2 as recomended

These boots are so comfortable and very warm. They honestly feel like your wearing a slipper. The size was accurate and they are not too heavy to walk around in. Overall these boots have been amazing and they're really cute

Very happy now!
February 07, 2011

From the moment I slipped them on they were warm and comfortable. I read the review saying that they were on size, so I ordered 8.5, which I normally would not have done with a boot. They fit perfectly and stay very warm even with a thin sock. The snow has melted but I don't care :) I am still wearing them! I highly recommend this product. (ps- they seemed loose in the ankle at first but after a few days it molded to my foot)

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Goes beyond expectations
January 10, 2011

This is my second pair of Sorels in 22 years. I am totally in love with them. My feet tend to get cold and now they stay toasty warm and dry. They are the perfect height, just above mid calf. Long walks are no problem because they are light and have just the right support. I have worn them boating, trail walking, beach walking, and to football games. They live up to the reputation for a superior product that does what it says it will do. All my local stores were out of my size so I was so happy to find them through your company. Online ordering was easy and they were shipped quickly so they arrived just in time for the snow!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
