I really like these shoes. Very warm and comfortable. They are rather slipper-like but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Size-wise, I believe they run pretty normal. I'm usually a 7 1/2 in most shoes and I ordered a 7. Fits great.
cozy and maintaining shape

This review is as a slipper (I do not wear them outside of the house). I found the sizing drastically wrong. I am usually a size 8, only occasionally a 7 1/2. The 8's were huge, and sloppy. They looked cartoonish in width across the mid foot, and not at all like the photo. I exchanged for a size 7, and they fit totally different. Nice and trim across the top of the foot, and surprisingly there is still room in the toes. (even though I'm a size 8) I really like the fit, color and texture. (There is no arch, since the sole is flexible.) The sole is very nice for basement or backyard runs when necessary, it's the perfect mix, right between a thin leather sole, and a true soft sole. Except for the size issue, they're great!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, Cons: sizing issuesWrite a review for the Sorel Felt Nakiska MJ Slipper here.
Toasty Tooties!

Cute slippers - and warm!! When I first tried them on, I did notice that the strap was a little tight and uncomfortable....however after wearing them a little more they seemed to have stretched a bit and don't bother me so much. They are well made and look very durable. Getting out of bed on a chilly morning is a little easier thanks to these slippers!
Pros: warm, great price, Cons: limited top foot coverageWrite a review for the Sorel Felt Nakiska MJ Slipper here.
Sorel Slippers
January 31, 2011
This is my first pair of Sorel Slippers. I use slippers in the house and on the patio or any time where a little bit of foot coverage is needed. The soles are just as heavy as an outdoor shoe. I was very pleased with this as that normally isn't the case with your average slipper. I was a little concerned about the elastic band on the top of the shoe as I have a high instep. This does not seem to be a problem. They are very comfortable. They also are very soft and warm. I'm anxious to go home and slip them on!

so cozy

I am wearing my Nakisha slippers as I type. So comfortable! So warm! So attractive! And they feel substantial, which I like. If you have a meaty foot, probably the strap along the top will be too tight as they feel snug on me and I have small bones and narrowish feet. But they are how slippers should be: well made, warm, snug, nice looking.

When these popped up as Deal of the Day one day I decided to treat myself to a pair of luxurious slippers. They are PURRRfect. The band is a little stretchy so as you pull them on by the back heel cover they go on easily. I prefer to wear them without socks because they're SO SOFT but with socks they're fine also. The high back is also soft and keeps your ankles WARM. The open mary jane look keeps you from over heating. The fun part is that if you pop outside to bring the dog in or pick up the paper, whatever, and you are wearing them without socks and it's snowing outside, the snowflakes tickle the tops of your feet that are exposed.... so these are giggly slippers, too! I have the dark gray with the red trim. The red ribbon up the back of the heel makes me feel I'm in a Nordic resort. There you have it. Comfort, practicality and fantasy. What could be better? I LOVE MY SLIPPERS!!! Thank you Altrec and thank you Sorel. I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I bought the slippers in a 10 and they true to size so I have a little toe wriggle room which adds to the fun.
