Great little boots

I bought these for my daughter as she is heading off to college in a cold climate. They are really comfortable and very cute. Especially like the warmth and water-resistant material. Her feet will be very happy when she is trekking across campus in below freezing temperatures. they are cute enough to wear when dressing a little nicer as well.

I was looking for a boot that wasn't too heavy, yet provided stability in snow and ice; was waterproof, and was warm. This boot hit the mark. I have a bad knee that other stiffer boots hurt after wearing for a short time. I made a point to wear these all day today (they just arrived yesterday) while at home to see how they felt. They are great! There are a couple flaws but mostly due to my feet. I have a high instep. Pulling the boot on was a bit of a challenge for the larger of my two feet. Then the bottom of the front zipper occassionally pushes against the instep. But I'm wearing socks, so it doesn't actually hurt. I figure with some wear, it will loosen up a bit. I like these boots enough to give it a chance because otherwise, they feel and fit great. I would agree with the other reviewer who mentioned the jingling of the front zipper pull. The new model has the zipper on the side so Sorel must have heard that feedback before. But the noise isn't too iritating. They really do sort of fit like a glove, as the description said they were insired by.

These boots are pretty fantastic. I ordered the green- as the color on my monitor (and the opinion of some of the reviews I read) looked very *green*. Sadly, they are sensible hunter green- which I suppose is perfect for most people (it's very pretty)- but as a chronic wearer of black, they just looked off-color on me. That said, they were true to size with room for thick socks, they felt supportive and squishy on my high arches, and were surprisingly stable for being slip-ons. They felt like sneakers right out of the box! Super well made. Love these boots- will just ponder them in another color. Get you some!

I've only been able to wear these boots a few times but so far I really like them. They fit true to size, are easy to get on and off and are really quite cute. My only negative is they don't provide as much traction on ice as I was hoping. But they are awesome in the snow!!

Before putting these boots on, I could tell that they would be extremely comfortable. The leather is sturdy without being stiff, and the inner lining feels like a thick woolen sock. As for the sizing, I got my normal shoe size and the boot fit perfectly. The sole is strong and looks like it will provide great traction, but it doesn't weigh the shoe down. Overall, I'm very happy with the way the boot looks and feels!

I have had several Sorel Snow Boots that are practical but not fashionable. Finally found one that is cute, warm and practical. Perfect for walking the dog, running errands and then going out to a casual dinner. Other ones are either too big and bulky or heavy. They came right before the next blast of snow, perfect timing! I am between an 8 1/2 and 9 sometimes a 40 is too big. They have great room for your toes and fits nice and snug with thick socks so no more slipping forward walking down steep streets. Love the retro, leather style!

Fantastic Shoe. True to size. Nice sleek & stylish look. The shoe is waterproof and will be great for the winter. Easy to put on, with the zipper. Avoids the hassle of laces.

These boots are super warm and comfy! The front zipper makes them easy and quick to throw on before walking out into the snow. My only complaints so far would be that at first I felt they were a little big; then I realized the fit was perfect when I tried to wear two pairs of socks and it was almost snug (I have a wide foot). Overall, I highly recommend this boot, I purchased the maroon boots with the gold zipper. The price was excellent as well. They are very stylish and look great with skinny jeans or leggings and a cute top. I will definately purchase boots again from Sorel, and may even buy the tall Firenzy Breve Boots in black now!

Terrific boots

My wife loves the green color and insulative feel. She works in a studio all day with only a concrete floor and the boots ensure she stays warm and toasty. Also, they're the first boots for the workshop she thinks are good looking--most snow boots don't work for the "urban" look, but these do. We really can't rate the water protection yet, but she assumes it's ok.

These Sorel Women Firenzy Breve Boots fit great, feel great and look great. They are warm, easy to slide on and off, and comfortable to wear all day. The quality of the leather and the construction of the boots are EXCELLENT. To sum things up; EXCELLENT boot and a very REASONABLE price.
