My boots arrived right before leaving on a week long campout in the mountains in the snow. I get cold feet easy. If my feet are cold, I am cold. With these boots, I didn't need gaiters, my feet stayed warm and dry...I stayed warm. I highly recommend them.

Not -100F for cold-prone feet

Don't get me wrong, these are good boots. I can tell they're very well insulated. Still, I live in the bush of Alaska, my extremities get cold easily, and I need seriously warm boots. When I'm moving around, I don't have a problem -- but when I'm riding a snow machine for more than an hour or two, my toes get cold... not freezing, but cold. With a -100F rating I had hoped for better. These are comfortable, mobility is easy, and they don't look goofy or anything. they are pretty warm... just not quite as warm as I had hoped.

The boot fits true to size and is so comfy! I'm out plowing in MI. for up to 12 hrs. straight and need warmth and waterproofing. This boot has it all. Plus I'm able to climb over large drifts with ease.

Warm and dry

My pair arrived just before the "blizzard of '09" and I wore them numerous times while shoveling two feet of snow. My feet never got cold and remained completely dry. The treads are fine for snow, but might slip on icy surfaces.
This boot was a poor choice for my needs.

I requested advice from your customer service. The sizing was correct. The choice of the boot was inadequate for my needs. I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I do not need a boot good to -100Fahrenheigt. May be if I lived in the Antartica. Also the boot was too heavy for me to walk in.
