These boots are great. I have been to the sledding hill and walked through rain with them and my feet are always toasty. I wanted easy to get on and off, warm, tall and stylish snow boots and that is what I got.

Helen of Tundra boots
December 11, 2011

I wear an 8.5 and ordered the 9 Sorel Helen of Tundra. I had to return the boots because they were definitely too big. I ended up getting a like new, second hand pair in an 8, and the fit is much better. Overall, I love these boots. They have excellent traction in slush, ice and snow, and are warm, waterproof, comfortable and attractive. I would recommend sizing down if you are a half size. These are not a narrow boot, which works well for my wide foot.

Pros: zipper for quick on and off, warm waterproof and great traction
Cons: doesn't come in half sizes

Best snow boot for East coast
November 15, 2011

Really warm and keeps you dry during the harsh winter in East coast. You don't need any other boot beside this. It is easy to get on and take off. The zipper in the front really helps when you have thick coat on to take off the boot. Lining keeps you warm and dry

Pros: best boot

Nice boots
November 08, 2011

Boots are nice. Keep feet dry. I ordered one size higher than my usual size and I'm pleased with the fit (I like room for big socks.) The area where the buckle is located seems a little stiff. That fact doesn't bother me but it's why I give a 4 star rating.

Pros: dry feet
Cons: stiff at buckle

Cute and Comfortable
August 04, 2011

I love these boots. They are not only super cute but also very comfortable. I am looking forward to winter so that I can wear them in the snow. So far, I've worn them in the rain and these boots kept my feet warm and dry despite the extremely cold weather. I usually wear a 7.5 but the 8.0 fit just perfect. I highly recommend these boots.

stylish
July 29, 2011

I love the stylish look of these boots and the fit was right on but I don't feel that the fabric is stout enough to keep me warm enough through a long snowy Aspen winter of walking the dog everyday. I would prefer to have a removable and replaceable insert.

Very warm and comfortable
July 23, 2011

These boots are so fashionable and warm! I was so excited to show all my friends my purchase (even though today is one of the hottest days of summer :D) I am usually a size 6.5, but i can sometimes wear a size 6 in some shoes. I never venture into a 7 though, and I got a size 6 in these boots. They fit just right! I can't wait to wear these in the snow and to school! (EVERYONE wears uggs. yuck.)

Pros: comfortable, warm, pleasing to look at

Fantastic buy
July 19, 2011

I couldn't be more pleased with my new boots. We live in an area that gets LOTS of snow and cold weather so I'm always on the lookout for warm but stylish boots and these did not disappoint. They are edgy and very comfortable. They are going to be fantastic for walking the dogs and shoveling (UGH). The price was great too and the shipping was super fast. Love my new boots!

Love the boots
July 01, 2011

Love the boots-very stylish. I wear an 8 1/2 in most shoes, and ordered the size 9 - glad I did as they fit very well, and since I will be wearing them in the winter, I can wear thick socks without them being too tight. Haven't worn them outside yet as it is summertime so can't comment on how warm they would be - just wearing them around the house they are comfortable. The boot is pretty light weight compared to alot of other winter boots. The boot shaft seems to fit my average to small calf size just fine - there will be enough room for me to tuck in my pants when necessary, but it's not overly roomy when I choose not to - it's just right.

Pros: stylish, true to size, easy on/off

Excellent boots
June 08, 2011

Love this boots! Bought it for a trip to Canada last winter and they were great for the snow and cold we experienced there (it got down to 8 degrees and with wool socks, my feet were warm and dry). Whenever I wear them, people tell me they like them. I am very happy that they are on sale now. I have 3 sisters, who live in Mongolia. So I just bought 3 pairs of them last week. I'm very happy with these boots! Fits true to size. But I purchased half size bigger for my next trip to Mongolia. ( I can wear extra socks for very cold weather)

Pros: very warm, comfortable, great price

Great Choice
April 28, 2011

These boots are warm, durable, dry, and leave lots of room if you happen to have large calves, which I do, the ONLY thing I would like is a larger lip behind the zipper. If you are not careful or in a hurry, you will catch the zipper on the inside lip of the boot. Other than that buy away!

Pros: warm, dray, easy on and off

Excellent quality
April 10, 2011

The books were of excellent quality. I ordered a 9 because I wear an 8 1/2, but just a little too roomy in the foot so I exchanged for an 8. Good service as well and came in a very timely manner.

Helen of tundra boots
March 25, 2011

I do like the boots, they are a little clunky...but cute. If u are in between sizes like me - I'm a 9 1/2 to a 10, go to a 9...they run a bit big. Thanks!

cute winter wear
March 05, 2011

These boot are cute and functional. I wanted something I could slush around in the muck of winter but also wear to the store, and these fit the bill. They are a bit stiff however, especially along the back of the boot. I do think this will soften when they are broken in. These boots run 1/2 size small and are nice and wide, great for accommodating wool socks!!!

Sorel's Best
February 24, 2011

I love my Sorel Helen of Tundra II. Size 9 women's was a perfect fit. It is actually warmer than expected. I live in Montreal Canada where we have -20°C and it has been still warm and cozy. Color was exactly as the website described. The website has many styles and colors to chose from. The one I bought is good for young people my age of 21 and middle age alike. I recommend these boots to anyone.

My new Winter boot
February 21, 2011

Living in Chicago, I needed a waterproof, durable, stylish winter boot. The Helen of Tundra boot offers all of these qualities. These boots helped me survive the Chicago blizzard this year. They are extremely warm...trudging through the snow, my toes never once felt cold. Also, I'll be going skiing and hiking in Jackson Hole, WY...these boots will definitely be packed for the trip. Sorel boots usually run a little big, however I purchased my regular size and I am happy I did. I am 5'4" and size 8 shoe. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Hard to know when wear half size
February 16, 2011

I wear size 7.5 in everything - and after trying on a 7 at the store which were too tight - i ordered an 8 - on backorder - and waited - and was so excited when they arrived - but they are quite large on my feet - have to return. They were wide and at least an inch too long - kinda crazy. I will try again though - I love these boots!

Exactly what I needed
November 11, 2010

I live in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The weather is harsh here in the winter. I need a pair of boots that can handle any kind of winter weather that comes my way but also looks great at the same time. This pair from Sorel meets my needs perfectly! Thank you.
