Perfect boot for the winter
November 22, 2010

I bought this for my elder daughter as she needed a good pair of boot for this winter. She was delighted with this pair that I got for her. The boot is true to size and is of high quality. It fits well and comfortable. I am so happy with it that I have ordered another pair for my younger daugther. A good buy indeed.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value

A good winter boot
December 31, 2005

These are stylish and look good with jeans but are also incredibly warm!

Great boots!
February 24, 2007

I tried and returned half a dozen pairs of winter boots from various online stores before I finally found these. Nice-looking and plenty warm even in very cold weather. Easy on, easy off. Good traction in slippery conditions. They do run a bit on the small side.

Cozy and comfy!
May 21, 2010

These boots are very comfortable and easy to walk in. In the winter my toes stay cozy and warm. Just what I was looking for.

nice boot
December 25, 2005

Bought these boots for my mother. They are nice and flexible and comfortable. They have good grip on wet snowy ground. They are also very warm. They aren't super heavy like some other boots. Great product!

They are perfect

Comfortable boots
February 18, 2011

I bought these boots in an 8.5 (usually take an 8) as recommended by others and got a perfect fit and comfortable boot. I wanted something for going to the store in wet, cold PA in winter. They are perfect for that. However, as another buyer noted, these boots are not warm if you are standing still or sitting outside. My feet were cold in 10 minutes while standing outside waiting for my grondson's schoolbus. I did not pay enough attention to the fact that the boot is rated to - 20 degrees during activity.

Good city boot
January 03, 2011

This is the second Sorel Waterfall boot that I have bought. I've had the first pair for a year. This is a good boot for walking city sidewalks, or working in a cold building. While a warm boot, it is NOT a hiking boot, as it lacks support. The arch support is minimal. Good enough for me, as I mostly wear it sitting down in a cold building. I also find it plenty warm to snowblow the driveway and make the quarter-mile hike from the parking lot at work. They do run wide, but seem short in length. I have to wear a half-size bigger for the length.

Love these boots!
January 26, 2011

It's been a snowy, slushy, cold winter in NYC and I'm out in it every day visiting patients. I ordered these boots 1/2 size larger based on the reviews I read. The size is perfect with enough room for heavy socks and an arch support insert. My feet are dry and warm. They stay dry even when stepping into puddles of slush and snow at street corners. When I get home I put them in the tub and run water over them to remove all traces of dirt and salt. They dry off quickly and look new again.

Pros: Performance, Cons: no arch support

January 28, 2010

They are stylish and comfortable! They keep my feet warm and are great to walk around in as well. I'm glad I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear because they fit great now. And they're light!

Great Boots, thanks for the great product and great price.

Very cute and comfortable boot for cold weather. Fits true-to-size. So cushy I did not want to take them off at the end of the day :)

January 11, 2010

I got these for snow but I have worn them more just to keep my feet warm in frigid temps. They are very comfortable to walk in and keep my feet nice and toasty. I have also worn them in the snow and they have kept me dry.

Walking on Ice
February 07, 2007

The boots are so comfortable and lighter than other snow boots I've owned. With just the right tread, they make walking on ice a lot less scary.

Hearty boot
May 12, 2011

Good boot; Comfortable and easy to lace. Runs quite wide and definitely not very feminine! Ahh well, will sacrifice fashion for efficacy. Should be a hearty winter boot.

Love these boots!
March 06, 2011

These boots are very comfortable. I did a lot of walking the first time I wore them and they didn't feel new at all. They are great for cold weather where you want the warmth but won't be in heavy snow. I normally wear a 9 but bought a 10 so I could wear heavy socks with them. I've worn them twice and absolutely love them!

Love the boots
January 31, 2010

I bought these boots for my daughter and she loves them! They keep her feet warm and are easy to get on.

Love them!

Comfy, cozy, warm. I hope it doesn't snow over 5 inches.

Finally found the perfect boot
February 18, 2010

I have been looking for boots like these for years - wide in the toe area, insulated and good for walking and hiking. My toes go numb in the cold very quickly (Renaud's syndrome) so I need thick socks, a liner underneath and insulation to be able to walk in the winter. I've never understood why most winter hiking boots are narrow in the toes when it's obvious you need room for thick socks. I had to have my last pair stretched but they were still tight and cut off circulation. These boots are comfortable, have good traction, are high enough to keep snow from getting in and look nice as well. It took only a couple of days for them to conform to my foot. I got a half-size bigger to leave room for thick socks - they're a little loose but I'd still recommend a half size larger to play it safe.

wonderful !
February 10, 2010

I ordered them specifically for my trip to Quebec for the winter carnival. I ordered a half size larger as was recommended by other reviews and was able to wear wool socks with them. They were quite warm and very comfortable. The traction was good as there was alot of slush and patches of ice. They were like a hiking shoe that was water proof! Love them!

Lightweight AND comfortable!
March 18, 2006

These boots are nicely insulated and very comfortable. And they look great too! These are snow boots, but with this design, you can even wear them out on regular days in the cold or rain. Definitely a great buy.

great boots easy to put.
November 30, 2009

I have hard time getting into boots because my arch is so high, and I almost gave up. I give a last try and was so happy to see that I was having no trouble putting these boots. they are high enough and so warm. they are really comfortable and nice looking. size wise I'm a 7,5 and took an 8 : it's perfect.

Great buy!
February 25, 2010

The boots look just like they did on the computer photo and they fit true to size. Delivery was timely. I shopped around and found that these are well priced at Altrec.

Best Boots

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Don't get sore feet anymore, not matter how long I have been on my feet!!

Just what I was looking for!
August 11, 2010

I go to college in northern Ohio where it snows for 4 months straight, more or less, so I've been looking for good boots for a while now, and these are perfect! They are cozy, comfy, and cute. The fit is very true to size and they were delivered quite speedily. Highly recommended!

cute in snowboots
February 12, 2011

They seem well made. I think that they run a half size short. I usually wear 8 or 8.5, but in these my toes were jammed in the end, so I sent them back. I did not get to actually wear them and experience them. They are really cute.

Pros: Build quality

Read the fine print!
February 01, 2010

When they say they are warm to -25 during "active" use they mean it. If you are standing still these boots are not warm at all. I will say they are comfortable. But, I should have read the description more carefully. I did not realize you neeeded to be active for them to be warm.

December 04, 2009

I ordered them being kinda leery, but when I got them I fell in love with them right away!

nice boots
February 01, 2007
