I purchased two pairs of these boots for my daughters, ages 7 and 10. The boots are what we have come to expect from Sorel - a good, solid boot that keeps the feet warm. The girls seem to like the boots and they have not complained about their feet being cold when they are out playing in the snow. There are 2 issues that I have found with these boots: 1) the logo peeled completely off one pair of the boots (the red ones), which doesn't affect the quality of the boot, but nevertheless, it came off; 2) the draw cord around the top of the boot is nearly useless, as I couldn't get it tight enough to cinch down even a little bit. Cinching it down isn't a critical element to the boot, but it would be nice to be able to use this feature, since Sorel adds it to the boot.
Pros: warm, comfortable, heavy-duty, plenty of room for added socks
