The SportRack Kayak Saddle Carrier Car Rack delivers what no other kayak rack does, universal compatibility with all types of kayaks and roof rack systems at a low low low price! A complete kayak rack system for about the same price as cheesy and difficult to use foam block kayak set-ups. This Kayak Saddle work with all types of kayak shapes - whitewater, sea, ocean, tandem kayaks and more, and connects directly to all Thule roof rack load bars (square, elliptical Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack), Inno Racks cross bars, Yakima round crossbars and virtually all factory roof rack crossbars. A complete kayak rack system that includes 4 kayak saddles and all mounting, safety & stability hardware including universal car rack crossbar mounting clamps, 2 heavy-duty straps with cam-buckles and a pair of bow & stern tie downs with galvanized steel bumper hooks to secure kayak to the front and rear of the vehicle. Other than needing significant hand strength to screw in and unscrew the brackets, this is an excellent system. I suppose one wouldn't want a bracket the can easily become unscrewed, but it isn't always convenient to have to go get a tool to do this when you are parked at a kayak put in place. I would buy this item again, no doubt about that.
