Spyder Men's Andermatt Jacket
Designed with many of the best features found on Spyder's top-shelf Aspen Jacket, this Spyder's Men's Andermatt Jacket is a prime pick for guys who don't need a detachable hood because they already ski with a helmet (or a really cool embroidered ski beanie). We like Spyder's new articulation pleats, a fashionable way to improve your mobility in the jacket through a functional design. The Andermatt also has core ventilation zippers with an upper back exhaust for enhanced comfort on warm days. Unlike other vent zippers that sometimes leak in damp conditions, the Andermatt has completely waterproof zippers. The entire jacket features a durable four-way stretch dobby weave backed with a waterproof and breathable Dermizax EV 20,000-mm. membrane. Beneath the weatherproofing are versatile extras like a zip-out powder skirt, internal mesh goggle pocket, pass pocket, data card pocket, custom chamois lens wipe cloth with retractable coil… You can check out the rest of the fine details below. I have had Spyder gear in the past as well as Arteryx, great stuff indeed. My last purchase was a soft finish Descente which I loved when I purchased, kept me warm and cool but the thing sucked in grease and dirt faster than a 2 year old in a mud puddle. My new Spyder arrived a few weeks ago and it's a beautiful bright color that fit's me perfect. Like my Spyder jacket from a few years ago,(which I wear to work come winter) all the pockets are in the right place, very cool tech finishes, zips for breathing in better locations, very functional, and wonderfully designed. I can wear this jacket in sub zero temps with proper underlaying and 60 degree spring snow with the sips open and a silk base layer. Given my experience with Spyder in the past, this coat will be extremely durable, easy to clean, and very versatile. Now...I just need 2 feet of pow!...Bring it!
