Spyder's new Invader Jacket gives you complete backcountry functionality in a spectrum of colors that leave conformity back on the bunny slopes. The Invader is an ideal choice for expert skiers who often venture into the backcountry via big mountain resort ski lifts. The Spyder Invader offers a removable heavy weather hood and extra tough stretch twill backed with a waterproof and breathable Dermizax EV 20,000-mm. membrane and treated with a Spylon+™ water repellent finish. Some skiers shy away from jackets with detachable hoods because the designs tend to seep along the zipper connections (especially after a few falls), but the Invader features waterproof zippers and seam taping that surpass almost anything available this season. The Invader's heavy weather hood zips off and stows in the back pocket. Beneath the weatherproofing are versatile extras like an electronics pocket, internal mesh goggle pocket, pass pocket, data card pocket and even a custom chamois lens wipe cloth with carabiner-shock-cord attachment.
