Spyder Never Disappoints
I've been wearing Spyder products for over 10 years and have never been disappointed in any of their products. I'm a slim build (5'11 & 145 lbs) and the medium in anything Spyder makes fits me perfectly.
The Rival jacket is the perfect blend of form, fit and functionality. And it looks good! From the slim fit to the perfectly placed pockets and air vents, no detail is left out. The jacket is extremely comfortable and well constructed. I recently had the opportunity to ski vastly different temps ranging from 45 to 0 degrees and never felt warm or cold in the Rival Jacket.
I would highly recommend the Spyder Rival jacket!

Perfection
Over the years I've owned my share of wet weather, cold weather jackets and coats for use in the coldest and wettest places in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Southwest Asia. This is the most comfortable, warmest and best fitting jacket I've ever owned--bar none. Just recently returned from a week long ski venture and riding up the lift I never felt so comfortable...no chills. The pocket zippers are military styled waterproof but "Spyder" like in design. I'm 69 inches with a medium build and wear a large jacket. The fit was sleek and comfortable.

Perfect Ski Coat!
This is a well made, warm jacket. It has tons of pockets, but has great mobility. It's not bulky or heavy. The thumb cuffs are great, as well as all the large back pocket. Well worth the cost. Highly Recommended!!!

Very Good Jacket!
I actually use this jacket for snowmobile riding and keeps me very warm, outer shell seems to knock down the wind great. I've been out riding about 10 times and have had no problems with moisture and the fit of the jacket is excellent and allows for free movement. I'm 5'10 @ 190lbs and the large is just right, only dislike is the sleeves could be a little larger in diameter to allow for more layers underneath however this jacket has been warm enough without additional layers! I would highly suggest this jacket.

Rival
Really need more time to truly judge this jacket. Winter has not started yet, ugh. Still, very stylish,warm and comfortable.
