Friend of boots
January 11, 2011
I wore these pair of STABILIcers on a full day winter hike. Excellent. I could walk much faster than the others, however I needed to change one screw at the end of the day - I recommend to buy the extra screws.

Best $50 I've ever spent!!!!!!
February 16, 2010
The best $50.00 I've ever spent. I walk my (3)dogs four miles a day around the lake,on sidewalks and roads. I live in MN and we have had a lot of ice this year. I have tried yaktrak and others and NONE of them compare!! They are heavy duty. I haven't had to replace any of the bolts or adjust I'm going on my second week. With others they break right away or I lose one and Im still slipping on the ice. Not with these!!! I'm in control of my walk and no longer worried about falling!!! Thank you!!!
Superior Footing
February 22, 2010
Since having a stroke effects my balance, it was very dangerous for me to walk my dog here in Minnesota. With the snow, melting & refreezing this year, everything has turned to solid ice. After receiving my STABILicers, I walk better on the ice than I do on dry pavement. I was truly AMAZED!!!
I feel safe
February 16, 2010
This winter we have had lots of snow and ice in central Virginia. I am so glad I have the stabilizers. My husband and I have continued doing our walks regardless of ground conditions. We feel safe with the stabilicers and actually love walking on th3e snow or ice.

They look nice
October 22, 2009
I purchased these for ice fishing after hearing good reviews from many hardwater fishermen. I haven't had a chance to try them myself (it's still October and I live in NY), but I'll be out as soon as I can. They appear to be well constructed: solid and durable.
Peace of Mind in Winter Weather
February 22, 2010
I have a long, steep driveway and have struggled to stay upright when shoveling snow or running my snow blower. Someone recommended YakTraks and after some online research I decided to go with the STABILicers instead. Glad I did. Very sturdy and seem to grip very well on most surfaces.
stabilicers and my hill
May 22, 2011
I live on on a hill in North Central Vermont, where, as you can imagine, snow, a lot of it, and ice, an endless supply, challenge footing. My wife and I have worn stabilicers for years; they hold up, unlike the 4 or 5 other products we've tried that slip off, don't grip well enough, and/or fall apart. Hiking with stabilicers through the woods, when it's not crampon weather, but icy, let's you enjoy the scenery instead of spending every moment staring at the ground.

5 stars for STABILicers
January 03, 2010
I decided to get stabilicers when my mailman in MILTON-FREEWATER,OREGON. TOLD ME ABOUT THEM AND SHOWED THEM TO ME. THEY ARE AWSOME, I,M OVER 60 YEARS OLD HAVE PARKINSONS DESEASE,DIABETIC,HIGH BLOOD PRESURE, SLEEP APNIA. THESE STABILICERS KEEP ME ON MY FEET AFTER LAST WEEKS ICE SNOW STORM THEY ARE THE BEST. AND IT DOES'NT HURT TO GET A SET OF REPLACEMENT SCREW IN SPIKES WHEN THE ORIGINALS GET WORN DOWN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. JAMES SMALL 01-03-2010
I couldn't get them fast enough!!!!
January 30, 2009
I had the sport model and wore the cleats down too much before I changed some of them and had to get a new pair (after wearing them for 4 years). They were out of my size locally. I searched the web and found this site. I went up a model and love them. I walk 2 dogs twice a day and I need stability on the ice. If the 70 pound dog tugs on me I can maintain control on a sheet of ice. I barely know I have them on and at times I find myself looking down to make sure they are still there. I can't imagine winter without them. In upstate NY they are a must have.
Studded snow tires for your feet

I usually don't write reviews but I would not want anyone considering the purchase of this product to hesitate in doing so. I am a 67-year old who doesn't want to fall and wants to keep up my daily walking regimen in the winter in Wyoming. Stabil-icers are a perfect solution. Today, (it was 11 degrees) I felt totally secure walking on packed down snow/ice which covers the trails/roads I use. I love being able to do what I want when I want and Stabil-icers allows me to do so. They are as easy to put on as Tevas (no pulling) and don't feel stiff. VERY comfortable. However, you would never be able to sneak up on anyone because you crunch the snowpack as you walk. I don't think that's really a big concern for most people. This is a truly wonderful product. I bought a size small to wear over my size 8 1/2 Keens.

STABILicers
December 04, 2010
I was a hit at work everyone wanted to know where I got them from and how much they cost. Several people had ice shoes but none like mine. I have not been able to use them to there full capacity yet but I am looking forward to use them all winter.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valuestabilicers
January 10, 2010
Best winter purchase ever. I'm no longer walking cautiously through icy hiking trails or roads. The stabilicers have given me the confidence to pursue my regular hiking routine without ending up on the ground, hurt. I have recommended these to everyone.
outstanding product

Purchased these for my wife for walking the dogs. They provided excellent traction even when she was being pulled by four of our pups.
Woman Sizing Mixup
February 04, 2011
Let me first say that the STABILicers are made well and I think they would be a great asset for walking on ice. My problem was that the website says to order a "S" for a woman's size 7.5 but when they arrrived the package says "XS" for a 7.5. The Small were too big and had to be returned.
Traction
January 11, 2010
I'd normally wear through at least two pairs of yaktraks a winter, and I decided to finally get something a bit sturdier, and these are it. They will definitely last. They fit well over my normal boots, and have enough adjustment that they even fit over my 1200gram thinsulate boots for those really cold days. They work great on ice and snow, and do not clog up. Just make sure you take them off before you walk across the hardwood floor! They dig in.

Frustrated
January 06, 2012
These are not sized to Pac-Boots. I ordered the XXL and length wise they just fit on a size 13. The front and rear straps are just holding. I'll keep them only because I've checked out quite a few cleats and none were sized to heavily insulated boots. I have Rocky's and Cabella's boots. Quality seems very good it's just the sizing. Have not used on ice yet. I hope straps hold.

Stabilicers for Mom
December 09, 2010
Purchased these for my Mom last Christmas. What a great gift. Since having these she's been able to continue with her daily walking stright through the winter. Things weren't looking good for her for winter exercize before I came up with the idea to hook her up with this great tool. She was ready to quit walking during the cold months after a fall she took early that season. Now she's back out there walking the neighborhood year round. This product has held up well on paved surfaces too . . . .
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useGreat way to prevent falls!
December 30, 2009
I purchased the STABILicers for my daughter to help her manage the snow and ice while walking the dog in Michigan. She has MS and needs quality foot gear to ensure foot placement in the winter. While the STABILicers are heavier than the cheap ones sold at drug stores, they don't wear down as easily, nor do the parts fall off like the cheaper brands. I purchased extra cleats for her to have on hand as a back up, although she has not had to use any so far. I would recommend STABILicers to anyone who is fearful of falling when walking outside in the snow. Be sure to remove them before walking on indoor flooring as they could damage tile or hardwood floors.

Stabilicers is the best investment I have made in a long time. I've been Ice fishing for over 40 years, and this is the best pair of creepers I have ever owned, Whether they are a rubber band mounted cleat under your arch, or full shoe adjustable carbide spikes. they make you sure footed, and they are incredibly easy to put on, after initial adjustment for your boot.
Great product!
December 11, 2008
This morning we had a freezing rain, and the street was as slick as could be so the STABILicers got their test. The STABILicers were a snap to put on. When the dog and I got going, there wasn't a bit of slippage. It was like walking on a dry surface. Unlike other cleats I've tried, there was no sensation of having anything on in addition to my shoes. in fact, I found myself frequently looking down to be sure I still had them on. I was, and felt, very safe.
Top Notch Performance
February 21, 2011
I bought Stablicers traction grips over a year ago for a family member who had a double hip replacement. I knew I wanted the best product I could get so he could safely enjoy ice fishing without worrying about a fall. Within a month after surgery he strapped them onto his shoes and ventured out on the ice .... They are fantastic! A year since the purchase he still feels the same, without the stability and grip that this product delivers he would not be confident enough to try his luck. Needless to say, he has ice fished for two winters without a slip. Thanks for a great product. For users with limited flexibility, strap Stablicers to your shoe first and then slip on shoe. You'll only have to snug the straps a little to get a superior fit.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, PerformanceA must for rural dog walkers
January 25, 2009
I walk a large puppy on a frequently icy rural hill. She likes to dive in ditches which can be dangerous for me. With the STABILicers, I can safely walk my high energy pup. Easy on and off with more tooth than other products I have looked at. Good value.

Best Product for Ice and Snow!!
February 03, 2011
I discovered Stabilicers after I broke my ankle falling on the ice. I've been using them ever since and I'm here to tell you...there is nothing like them. I have also purchased them for my sister, boyfriend and my Aunt and they all love them. If you live where walks, driveways, etc. are covered with ice and/or snow..you can not afford to be with out them. Stabilicers are literally a life saver!!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueDon't slip again!
December 03, 2009
Stabilicers are the best "non-slip" items I have tried. I have used many versions of Yak Traks and a few others and Stabilicers beat them all hands down. They have replaceable studs (which I think are sheet metal screws) and cover the entire surface of your shoe. Perfect!!!
Sturdy and Well Built

These are head and shoulders above any ice spikes that I have used...and I am a dog owner/delivery driver,so I should know!

STABILicers 4ever!
December 17, 2011
I received these as a gift from my husband and couldn't figure out why he was so excited about them- I actually put them in a closet and forgot about them for awhile. THEN on a very windy, rainy, snowy, icy, freezing rain day I was cleaning out that closet, and it was driving me nuts! I really had to get out- and there were those crazy things my husband had given me..... out I went! I was gone for hours; I didn't want to come in! I felt like a kid with the best new toy! I must have tromped around for 3 or 4 hours- through freezing rain, over ice and snow in all kinds of terrain: roads, sidewalks, fields, trail, rock.... I could go anywhere. There is nothing more slippery than water over a bed of ice. Not only did I not slip, or wipe out-- I had an absolute blast being out in the weather going anywhere I wanted to go all at full speed. I am a convert! Great product.
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great valueVery good

These are the Best!
September 29, 2009
I work in a very hilly, urban neighborhood. In the winters walking to the office is extremely hazardous. Stabilicers worked beautifully for me last winter! No slips, no falls, no skidding. Absolutely secure walking on snow, sleet and ice. Recommend these 100%!

Feet don't slip
March 18, 2010
Purchased these for use on city sidewalks. Almost as good as snowshoes. My stability is great, don't worry about walking naturally. Best buy in snow and ice department
January 29, 2012
Makes walking on all the ice we have had this year easy. I wish I would of had them years ago. Easy to put on and off and also easy to replace the screws in the bottom. Would recommend to anyone.

Fit perfectly
January 31, 2012
I had read reviews that the sizing chart was wrong, but the small size in these fit woman's size 8 perfectly. And they slip on very easily. I can't wait to use them when we head to the mountains to ski.

A must-have product for ice & winter
December 28, 2009
I tried out my stabilicers today for the first time and must say I am very impressed with them thus far. I didn't slip once and walking was very easy and natural. This is a must have item for anyone who has to do some walking on snow and ice on a regular basis. This is my first pair that I've ever bought and limited experience with them has been very positive. I hope they keep up with all walking that I do on a daily basis.
November 24, 2010
This is the best product among other similar products I had before. sturday and strong. And most importantly, it keep me safe on the ice and snow.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueNo More Slipping!
February 04, 2012
I live in a ski resort. We have snow cover for 6 months of the year. The snowplow does a great job keeping our unpaved roads clear of snow for driving but that action leaves a hard-packed, slippery and sometimes icy surface for pedestrians. Also, early in the snow season, our heavily-used backcountry trails become very slippery and potentially dangerous. Some hikers in my area wear YakTrax. I knew that product would be too "weeny" for me, especially when I was finding lost YakTrax along the trails I use. A Search & Rescue friend recommended Stabilicers so I bought a pair in Nov 2008. This product is great! I wear heavy, leather mountaineering boots and am not aware of the extra weight of the Stabilicers on my feet. The steel cleats give me excellent traction on hardpacked snow and even on ice. I no longer have to risk injury ascending or descending steep, slippery slopes. The rubber soles are sturdy and thick. They have stood up to all kinds of trail and cross-country hiking. The harness webbing looks new after 3-1/2 seasons of heavy wear. The Velco tabs still adhere tightly to each other. There is no slippage of the harness, the sole stays in place under my boot and I have never dropped one of my Stabilicers because the Velco tabs came undone. After 3 winters of hard use, I lost one cleat from each sole. I should have ordered a package of spare cleats when I bought the Stabilicers. I placed an order for the replacements with Altrec and got them within 2 days. After replacing the two missings ones, I resumed my backcountry hiking. When I returned that same day, I noticed I had lost the 2 new ones. I'm guessing the rubberized holes must have become enlarged during the process of the original cleats working themselves out of the sole. My husband inserted "Duco Cement" (a household glue in a tube) into the holes and on the steel shaft of the new cleats and inserted them. He's had good results with this cement inside our 4WD mini-RV that is subjected to incredible vibrations and twisting on back roads. Hopefully, this procedure will keep the replacement cleats from falling out again. Each sole has 17 cleats so, even with one missing, there was no difference in traction. In fact, I wouldn't have noticed that I had lost the cleats if my friend had not discovered it when I showed her my Stabilicers. She later bought a pair for herself. Since I bought my pair and my husband's pair, I have recommended this product to 10 friends (most of whom also purchased Stabilicers) and countless tourist-hikers that I have encountered on our backcountry trails.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, doesn't feel cumbersome on feet, Cons: replacement cleats may come out againDid you recently buy the Stabilicers STABILicers? Write a review.
