I had been searching for a bag for my new netbook, almost to the point of obsession! I had gone online, to stores and even asked family and friends if they had recommendations. Finally, I found my STM bag at Alrec.com! It looked just like what I envisioned for my netbook and an upcoming trip. With nothing to loose, I ordered it! I was thrilled with the prospects of finally getting a bag that would come close. Within days my bag arrived. It was even better than I hoped! The style is perfect. The size, construction, color and even the price all exceeded expectations.

I used this as an everyday bag and find it to be the perfect size for holding everything and yet still be small enough not to be bulky. For me it holds my iPhone, wallet, iPad, point and shoot camera and a few other odds and ends (keys, chap stick, tissues etc). There are 3 pockets to use to organize your stuff however you want. The back pocket is great for papers, while the outside pocket is perfect for things you want quick access to, like your wallet. The inside zippered pocket is where I put the small items like extra contact lenses but others might feel better with their wallet more secured in here. The pocket for the iPad/Netbook is plenty large enough and so well padded I am pretty sure I could throw the bag at a wall and the iPad wouldn't even know it. I rarely use the outside buckle, but that is my own fault, its because I am lazy. I have thought about cutting it off a few times but when I travel to questionable places I do use the buckle for added security. I also ditched the huge padded shoulder piece as soon as I got the bag. Even when loaded down the bag itself is not heavy and the shoulder pad is HUGE. The company should make a smaller one for this bag, on a heavier laptop bag it might be nice, on this, it just huge. The strap itself can be short enough to wear it high or let out to go across the chest and still hang low. I generally wear it across the chest and low on the hip. The strap is heavy duty though and if it rubs on your neck you will be uncomfortable. When traveling I have noticed this a time or two, but generally this can be avoided by adjusting the height of the bag or how you wear it. I have used the bag for over a year now and it has over all held up well. The color looks good and the bag shows no signs of wear except for the front pocket. If you put anything bulky or heavy in this outside pocket for any length of time the pocket will start to bulge and it will not go back to its previous slim shape.

Seems well constructed and stylish. iPad fits perfectly with the Apple Case. There's enough room though, for a sleeve or a different folio case. You could slip an Apple Bluetooth keyboard into the outside pocket as well, but I think an inch or two would stick up.

Just picked up my new iPad and ordered the STM Scout extra small. Works great for my new device. Room for some paperwork, pens and other stuff. I'm traveling light and stylish now!

'Used to carry a lot, too much, in a standard briefcase; now down to an iPad, an iPhone, and a small notebook, and this bag fits them perfectly--pockets 1, 2, 3. After a day's use, I thought, "oh, if only it had a fob for my flash drive then it would truly cover everything I need." Then I thought, "I bet if I reach down this front pocket..." and there it was. It's that perfect.

Great Bag, it fits the iPad and all my daily items. Looks cool for a guy to care around and doesn't come across looking like a purse.

This bag is awesome. It fits my iPad & Kindle together perfectly, and it's a nice size that's not awkward to carry around.
