Anonymous - 2009-03-10Kept my hands warm and dry when they were in the snow all day.
First time skiing in 17 years and my hands were in the snow all day from falling over and over again. These gloves kept my hands warm and they were extremely comfortable. I tried them on at a local store and they were by far the most comfortable out of everything they had. They didn't have my size so I bought online.

Never owned a Swanny glove before, but I'm glad I took the chance I got these.
I cycle in the winter, sometimes in single digit temps with sub-zero wind chill. These gloves keep the wind out and trap warmth at two points: one at the wrist, and again toward the end of the gauntlet.
They are very well thought out, allowing you to get them on your hands and work the two different cinch points with one hand... you can also undo these equally easily.
They are dexterous and I was pleased to discover that the tips were fairly rigid, meaning you can work buttons and switches without too much trouble.
The build quality is incredible.
I usually wear a size large in gloves, but I found the Swany large that I ordered here to be a little big. I double checked on Swany's website and found their (printable) sizing guide, and sure enough I needed the medium. It fits incredibly well.

If your looking for a full featured leather, gauntlet styled glove, I don't think there is a better glove on the market. Very comfortable and appears to be well constructed. Pocket is great for throwing in a hand warmer in extreme cold conditions. In most cases I am in between a L and an XL, I bought the XL. I probably could have gotten by with the large, but I'm still very pleased with the glove.
