It's a highly affordable alternative to microprocessor-controlled irons, but you'll have to settle for an old school temperature indicator light instead of a thermostat (ask yourself how many times you
really need that microprocessor for checking the temperatures). Up front you'll find clips for attaching Swix Fiberlene Paper for protecting those specialized cold condition waxes--although we find that Fiberlene is also great for picking up dirt and excess wax. The Swix "74" Waxing Iron has a compact profile for easy travel and it won't take up extra space in your ski tuning bag.
