Its unique variable-knit polyester ensures optimal breathability, moisture-management, and warmth for low-bulk core insulation that's especially effective when worn under a shell. Stretchy R1® fabric (made with 60% recycled polyester) lines the inner collar for next-to-skin comfort. The vest has an easy-to-use front zipper, welded-in zippered handwarmer pockets and forward-set shoulder seams for comfort with a pack. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

• Highly technical R2 fabric is light, stretchy and compressible, with great breathability
• Insulating tall fibers alternate with dense, supportive short fibers to optimize insulation and reduce bulk
• Directional knit wicks moisture and speeds dry time
• Inner collar lined with R1® (made from recycled polyester) for next-to-skin comfort, protective chin flap
• Welded, zippered handwarmer pockets have surrounding Supplex® strips for snag-free operation
