Great UL pack for running, day hikes, overnighters

This is an excellent, wellmade and extremely lightweight pack that is still rich in features. To be fair, the lightweight is attributed to the packs use of silnylon. If you're familiar with the material and UL packs in general, than you know exactly what you're getting. Otherwise, be warned, this is a pack that is not bombproof. The vertical zipper allows access to all parts of the pack, and has yet to fail after a full year of use. A major plus are the 2 waterbottle pockets mounted directly to the hipbelt--this provides for great weight transfer of your heaviest items (water) and opens up the main compartment for actual gear. If you are SUL and use a tarp, then it's possible to get a full overnight kit in here. Also, theres a sizable sundries zippered pocket that is accessible from the outside where you can stash essentials/keys/first aid etc. Totally diggin this pack.
