Description

Amphibious footwear takes a leap forward in the Teva Omnium Water Shoes for men providing more coverage for better protection out of the water while maintaining the drainage and quick drying materials for amazing aquatic performance. T.I.D.E Hydro technology uses waterproof and breathable membranes and an ion-mask™ nano-coating to drastically reduce water absorption and improve drying time while engineered drainage lets water flow out easily. These sandals use a durable Spider rubber compound outsole that grips wet and dry terrain allowing you to scramble over boulders or ford streams with ease. A wrapping rubber toe protects from bumps and light impacts while a polyurethane and EVA foam Shoc Pad™ dampens your heel strikes to keep you comfortable on long hikes. Perfect for summer rafting trips or any adventure where you might get wet with snug performance and an antimicrobial Microban® Zinc footbed these water shoes certainly don’t stink.

Not like any teva Ive had
September 18, 2010

These shoes are not like Teva sandels. Probably more like their shoes. They hurt my feet, and Ive worn their sandels for years. I hope they make a true enclosed sandel next.

Cons: Bad design

Wow!
July 26, 2009

I was looking for something to give my feet some more protection than my original Teva Sandals, and these do the trick. They are comfortable right out of the box, are easy to adjust to fit, and are my new favorite pair of shoes. I wore them at a camp where I spent most afternoons getting children in and out of canoes in a lake and these protected my feet on the rocky shore, and dried out quickly every night.

Soles Peeled Off
December 05, 2010

Bought these last spring for a bare boat trip. They were comfortable, didn't mark the boat, & were great on the beach, hiking & climbing rocks. But on day 3 the outsoles started peeling off both shoes. I held them together with repeated glue applications until I got home. Returned them & got Keen Newport H2s, which cost more but are worth it. I definitely recommend the Keens over this junk.

Cons: Poor quality

Great all around water sneaker
January 13, 2010

Wanted the shoes for my husband for the Galapagos, but he started wearing them right away. Loves the heal...much better than just the strap. Also likes the holes for water to go out. Very Comfortable..

They're ok..
July 05, 2010

I've had 2 pair of Keen's, and thought I would try these out for comparison. While the arch support might be a tad better w/the Teva's.. the Keen's are easier on/off, like the overall comfort and looks better too. They may be perfect for some, but "they'll do" for me.

Bike and Hike, Town and Trail
May 12, 2011

Love these sandals! Great support and style. Used them on a Bike and Hike trip along the Hudson River Palisades. No problems. Also great on city streets and urban cycling. Next: get them wet!

Cons: need more colors

Sent them back
October 05, 2009

I went for a walk with them and they started to rub the back of my ankle within three blocks. So I adjusted the different straps, loosening one, tightening another, etc. By Block number seven, it had taken a layer of skin off. I didn't bother any further trying to break them in.

Fantastic - they are perfect for my fishing/kayaking use.
November 02, 2009

I just bought a pair of the Teva Omnium water shoes, and they are great. I fish from my sea kayak, and I also paddle for exercise three days a week, and the shoes are perfect. They fit great, are lightweight, and are extremely comfortable. I have had several other pairs of water shoes, and these are by far the best. I recommend them enthusiastically.

Excellent for boating!
September 30, 2010

The men's Omnium water shoe is just what I wanted for using on my white fiberglass boat. It does not leave scuff marks, dries well , and is very comfortable and secure on the deck. Runs true to size for me.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Comfortable and Durable
September 11, 2010

I bought these for warm weather walking and the fact that these are water shoes is a big bonus. Can wear them for outdoor activities or with nice shorts and a button up for casual social functions.

Perfect water shoe !

I use these every time I step in the water. I never have to worry about them coming off my feet even in some rough waters. Very worthy investment if you spend any amount of time in the water.

Excellent shoe!

I bought a pair of these shoes for my husband to use while at our lake house. Not only were they a hit with him, but my son quickly put them on his 'wish list'. A great shoe--great foot protection, durable, and comfortable.

Very good shoe

The shoe is all I expected...Great traction when walking in the pool. They are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. They also dry out overnight. I wear them in the pool to rehab my knee. I am very pleased with their quality and performance.

excellent water shoes

Excellent quality and fit. The best water shoes I've worn. I used them to walk about a mile to where I put my kayak in the water and they are great.

The perfect sandal
October 12, 2009

I love these sandals / shoes...I bought 2 more pairs just in case they stop making them. They look like they are made by Keen with the rubber toe bumper, but no, they are Tevas... great job, great fit with lots of easy to make adjustments. Perfect!

What a Great Shoe!

The fit and quality are superb. Can hardly wait to give them the real test in the Galapagos. I'm so proud of them I can not quit looking at my feet!!
