Alborz Backpack
February 22, 2012
I fell in love with the name Alborz which is a great mount in Iran. The backpack is very sturdy and is built out of high quality materials. It's not as roomy as I would like though. My 13" Macbooks fits perfectly but a bigger laptop should not be as easy. This was my first North Face backpack experience and although I usually love the simplicity of the brand, I though they compromised on the functionality a little bit. There are only 2 main compartments in contrast with the typical 3. It has a net water bottle holder on BOTH sides, which I found unnecessary unless you use it for long hikes. There are not any quick access pockets around the backpack which could be nice for snacks, stationary and small items. The zippers are covered by waterproof plastic linings which is nice under the rain, but makes it so difficult to open and close in a rush. Generally, I would recommend it as a hiking backpack , and not as an everyday school gear.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, PerformanceGreat Backpack!

As a college student, I need to carry around my books, notebooks, folders/binders, laptop, charger and sometimes even my work uniform. I didn't want a bigger backpack because those were heavier, and kind of bulky, and just not easy to tuck away during class. This bag suits my needs perfectly: it carries everything I want it to, keeps things organized, and looks nice. The only thing I have a problem with is the lack of color choice, but that definitely isn't a deal breaker, especially since the basic black is pretty sleek. I owned another North Face backpack which lasted me from kindergarten to high school graduation, and it was made of lesser materials, so I'm hoping this bag will last me at least 10 years (college, grad school, work?), and it probably will :] Altrec pricing is also a HUUGE plus, and I got it shipped to me in 3 days. If you think it'll suit your needs too, it probably will. Definitely get this backpack!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuePerfect for Mature Adults!

As an active, older adult who is mildly arthritic, this is the perfect backpack. It's great for traveling to and from the office because it is smaller and lighter in weight but large enough for my laptop, lunch, reading materials and overflow from my small purse. The padded shoulder straps and padded backside fit perfectly on my upper back, so there is minimal stress on my shoulders and lower back. It is very comfortable, sleek and far better than dragging a backpack on wheels!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Product!!!

This backpack is great for school and everyday activities. Being water resistant makes this product a lot better. The water beads right off and just wipe and it's dry! Also it's comfortable with a perfect fit. The chest strap helps take the stress of of your back which I thought wouldn't make a difference, but it does! Overall this product is great and bight recommended by me.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
