NF luggage tag
April 01, 2013
other than the main component of NOT having an actual name/address tag it would have been fine
Pros: Build quality, Cons: missing tag labelApril 30, 2012
Quality tag made out of the same bomb proof material as the base camp duffle, can't foresee a scenario where it can be ripped off. Like the other review stated though it would have been nice to have included the ID card.

I had a great experience with the instant chat service; awesome additional discount results. The discount, fast delivery and free shipping was an excellent bonus! I should have read the reviews about the tag not having any insert to write your information. I could have just used the blank space in my base camp bag that is permanently fixed to the bag and inserted my business card. Lastly, the design of the tag appears to be a little nonsecure so I will have to tie a knot or tinker with it to stay on the bag. Otherwise this would have received 5 stars.
Pros: Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Bad designThe Northface Luggage Tag

I almost always read the reviews for online purchases. Skipped it this time. What could be wrong with a luggage tag? It matches the Surge backpack I have. IMO, for the price and quality, the backpack SHOULD have came with some sort of ID tag. I ordered this one even though the shipping added more to it that it is actually worth. Since it matched well. As you've probably seen in other reviews, no ID slip to write down your info was included. It says it will hold a business card, that might be good if you have business cards for it. Lets say a business card will fit in the pocket provided. Will it stay in there? Doubtfull. The strap could have looped through the front & back to lock it in but it's just a loose slip in and hopefully not a slip out. The other thing, you would think that a luggage tag would have a plastic viewing window to protect the ID paper slip inside at least to let water run off. Well no, this one has a mesh material on the pocket where the slip goes. Any small spill or light rain shower and this slip is toast. The Northface must have let someone design this tag that has no idea of what a luggage tag should be.
Cons: Bad design, Poor quality, not what you expect from northface.Nice but no tag to write name

The tag is strong and nice looking, but it doesn't come with paper to write your name and address on. For the price, and for being a luggage tag, it should include the name tag part.
