As always, fast delivery from Altrec. This book pack (NorthFace Box Shot) has great carrying capacity. Not only is it large enough to hold several massive textbooks & binders, as well as clothing and lunch, but its sturdiness has been beyond my expectations. The bag itself is relatively lightweight but can get heavy really fast. I tend to overload mine, so the extra lumbar padding helps. A lot. Several pockets for smaller sundry items are found all over this pack, and they are thoughtfully situated and sized. I would recommend this bag to anyone with a laptop of moderate size; my 17" did not fit.

Very durable backpack!
I purchased this backpack for my 12 y/o son who usually goes through 2-3 backpacks a year! This product is very durable (gets thrown around a lot) & extremely roomy for all of his text & notebooks. Also, you can't beat the price compared to retail stores.

AWESOME Pack
I am a full time commuter/cyclist and self admitted backpack junkie! I have tried every style possible and many different brands and am constantly looking for the "perfect" backpack to make jumping in and out of subway cars and buses while loaded down with gym clothes, food for work, produce from the farmer's market etc. as efficient and as painless as possible. I think I've found that pack! The Box Shot is big enough to carry all my stuff, has a lot of pockets and compartments for easy organization and easy access of my stuff while getting in and out of the train, off my bike or grabbing my keys and membership card for the gym. Even loaded down the pack is very comfortable and displaces the weight so you barely feel it. My son has a different model made by The North Face so I know they are extremely durable. I highly recommend this pack for people on the go!

Superb!
I was in the market for a medium to large laptop (17" Dell) bag for use everyday and checked all major brands. This one fit the bill precisely. Enough pockets for organization but not too many that I'd forget where stuff was. Enough capacity for all I need but doesn't look ridiculous when it's on my back. Clean styling with no tacticool. Solid construction. Definitely an upgrade from my previous pack and one that's both sturdy and versatile enough for me to use for years during the work week, weekend hikes/adventures and on international trips.

This is a great backpack. I upgrded from the Big Shot back and this item is 100% percent better. Unlike the Big Shot, the Box Shot has a seperate compartment for laptop storage which is a huge plus. It has plenty of other compartments and room for storage and sits very comfortably on my back even when it is filled. I highly recommend this product.

box awesome
This bag can hold my laptop easily, and my laptop is huge at 15"x10.5". The shoulder strips are really nice and wide so they don't cut into you. I use it for carrying my books and laptop to class, it works great. The font pocket has nice organization parts in it for pens and stuff. It's now easy for me to grab what I want when I need it.

great backpack
I had a North Face "big shot" and I loved the large space, but I was not happy about the single large pocket. North Face solved this issue with the Box Shot by breaking the bag up into three section. I love everything about the box shoot except the lack of a hydration port, but great for holding everything I carry (laptop, books, gym cloths, and misc) and hangs well with the use of the compression straps.

Fantastic
Wanted a North Face backpack I could also use as a carry on for my 17 inch laptop. My old North face was too tight for my laptop. The Box shot is perfect!!!!!

Perfect for my 17
I like the tough construction of this pack. The laptop sleeve is well protected, and holds my Dell Inspiron 17 laptop perfectly. My laptop dimensions are 1.5x11x16.5 The straps are comfortable, and it wears well when loaded. The main compartment is roomy, and the others are well thought out. I had originally purchased The North Face Big Shot pack for my laptop, but the computer did not fit in the sleeve. Altrec customer service took the time to work with me over the phone, even to the point of going to their warehouse and physically measuring packs until something stood out as a possible good match. They took the return and sent the Box Shot, which takes the laptop perfectly, as well as the usual carry on items. I find this to be a roomy pack, with more potential uses than simple carry on functions and laptop hauling.

PERFECT!!!
You can not get a better bag then the Box Shot from north face. Half of what i own seems to be north face and this is by far the best backpack i have EVER had. plenty of room for books and other items in main compartment. the laptop compartment is very padded. the 17 inch laptop is a tight squeeze but a PERFECT back pack. worth EVERY CENT!!!!

The Box Shot Laptop is the perfect bag to store your work items (laptop, etc.) as well as an overnight bag. This product proves to be very versatile!

great bag lost of space yet compact compressible
Great bag, lots of space, yet compact compressible by tightening straps to it stay close to your back- what I like the best is the security of the laptop compartment- padded tight structure. It doesn,t run the length of the bag, it stops short with padding underneath so you have a little insurance should you forget your laptop is in there and drop it less than carefully on the floor.
