I bought this jacket for a friend as a gift. It fits well, looks great and was on sale. It appears to have the same great performance and looks of my adult size Apex Bionic. The web sight is great. Easy navigation, I really like how the flash player allows close up views the products. I recomend Altec to all of my friends and family. Great web site

My son absolutely loves this jacket. He says that it is warm, seeing we live so far north. It is a great jacket for in between winter to spring and the start of fall to winter. The price was also a great bargain. I love this website, great deals on apparel.

adlergbee6 - 2007-11-27Decent but Marmot Boy's Gravity is better
Bionic was bought as a replacement.
This is North Face's attempt at the Marmot Boy's Gravity soft shell. It's not as warm, interior fleece is thinner and poorer quality.
Also, coat is bulky, unlike fitted Marmot.
Still, nice during rain/sleet/snow but would prefer to have the Marmot Gravity again!
