Very light, comfortable and warm! I ordered these for my 12 year-old son, but I wished these are mine as I was so surprised by the lightness when I tried once. My son says these are the best boots he tried ever.

My 12-year-old son loves this boot. This is his second year in these boots. He just outgew his old ones and is now in the last size (7) before adult sizing kicks in. What's great about this boot is its light like a bedroom slipper, toasty warm for the feet, AND slips on easily. He can wear it to school through snow and wetness, in school all day without his feet sweating, and he can later wear it outside on a hill sledding for hours. We live in the windy city of Chicago right off the Lakefront where consistently warm winter wear are essential. The sturdy rubber sole is durable for concrete and the tread is thick enough to climb hills without slipping. We are thankful to Altrec for stocking this size at this point in the season. We recommend it strongly for those cool dudes who don't want tie boots. We prefer black, but the brown matches his ski wear and is the only one of its kind in his school.

loved these shoes. bought a pink one for my daughter. get a lot of compliments. daughter states very light but very warm. so I decided to buy for my son. son loves it. son walks like a normal child instead of like Frankenstein.

I bought these for my picky 7 year old son who hates heavy and clunky shoes/boots. He loves them!! They are sooo light it's unbelievable. He puts them on and takes them off without no problem, no annoying velcro and straps!! They look great and stylish. We love them!

We got these boots for our 7-year-old -- he is happy with them and so are we. Easy to get on and off, super-light, comfortable, and best of all, great for either rain or snow. Highly recommended.

Excellent for everyday school wear

I bought this The North Face snow boots for my 8yr old boy for his wintertime everyday school wear. He wore it when he was 6 and 7 years old. He felt comfortable and liked it. It is good during winter at everyday school recess and in class. Not suitable for heavy snow or terriable weather condition. It is ideal for cold days.

I ordered these boots for my 7 year old son . They are very light, comfortable and warm. The price was great .His feet were dry and the boots stayed clean, just a quick wipe and they were like new. I bought another size bigger so they would be worn next winter. He loves them because they are easy to put on by himself and remove them by himself." Highly recommended.

These boots stayed dry while playing in the snow all afternoon long! The next day we used them again while walking through all the slushy puddles! You will absolutely love them!
