I bought those for my three kids. They like very much to wear them. The jackets are light and very comfortable. My kids think that they are pretty cool, so I am happy because they make life easier.

This is my son's second Resolve jacket and we are quite pleased with it (esp as the first one lasted well enough to hand down to younger sibling). He is 11 and does not always think wearing a jacket of any sort is cool, but is happy to wear this one. My kids are average height and build and this jacket fits well, though I do think a huskier child might find the fit a bit snug. Altrec was great about letting me know that a desired color was back in stock and shipped very promptly!

I bought this for my son for his scouting trips and he loves it. The color (blue) is nice and it is very well-made. The elastic around the hood face is great to help keep out the rain.

My son needed a good rain jacket and wind breaker for school where he does alot of walking outside. He can also fit this one over his fleece for colder days. Northface has a great reputation for quality and Altrec was prompt with the delivery.

6 year old son loves it. Fits well (slightly snug but not too snug) over his North Face down vest so it can work as a shell as well as rain gear.

This jacket is perfect for all types of weather. It definitely protects from the rain and wind and also serves as a great weatherproof shell when layering in colder weather. We are looking forward to passing it down to our younger son.

My two sons (11 & 10) has a Resolve jacket from North Face. Besides being light it looks "cool" and can be used for everyday or even nicer occasions. Very happy with it.
Not zip-in compatible

Bought to go with Khumbu fleece my son loves, but not zip-in compatible or kid-friendly piece. The velcro gets stuck on inner mesh lining.

My son loves his new Resolve Jacket from North Face that I went back to your company and bought him another one (in case his gets lost at school) my daughter one and my husband one. I would have bought myself one but I have more rain coats than one person should have!! My son LOVES his Resolve Jacket and I love the Customer Service People at your company (Shane and Dave.) North Face is exceptional in quality and Altrec carries so many of their products. I have never been disappointed with Altrec's service and delivery time. Their prices are usually the best I can find or close enough to make the sale worth it. In this particular jacket, the size S fits my 7 year old son just right. Not much room for growth but I can pass it down to my younger son next year.

I bought this jacket for myself in the XL (I am usually a women's small in North Face) because I love the color and the kids' versions of the North Face items are very similar to those that come in adult sizes but are less expensive. It is a perfect light-weight summer rain jacket.

Bought jacket for my son for camp. Jacket runs small; had to buy Youth XL because Youth L was too small although he normally takes L. Only other issue is that jacket fabric sticks to velcro storm flap closures if jacket is not zipped up. Otherwise, jacket is great.

First I thought I will be disappointed like other products that I bought online which the seller's description was way from the day I received it. But when I bought this Resolve Jacket... It was described exactly the way I first opened the package. Looking to get more TNF products. A pair of TNF shoes next time. hehe.

I bought this jacket for my 3 year old nephew for his birthday. It is good to wear on a rainy day. I got size S so that he can wear next year but it is little big for him. good product, fantastic price. But Shipping is not fast. It is delivered exact estimate delivery day. This is the second North Face Jacket I have purchased for me from here. The prices on their jackets is much more reasonable than other websites.

Bought for my 11 year old. Altrec customer service went way above and beyond to get it to me in time for a backpack trip and is hugely appreciated (thank you Shane). Reason for 4 star is that the mesh lining sticks to the velcro, making it a bit of a pain every time my son has to zip up. Otherwise, is light and comfortable and great looking. Definitely need layers for colder weather, but that is what a shell is for. Perfect the way the hood disapears into the collar when not needed. Fits true to size. Would Would buy again and definitely from Altrec.

I bought this coat for my 3 year old in and xs. It is great for the rain & wind or over the fleece north face coat for colder weather. It also looks adorable on him. It is a little big but, I know I will definitely get another season out of it.

We bought our son his first North Face Resolve jacket three years ago when he was seven. It's lightweight, breathable, and waterproof -- great for backpacking and for cold, rainy school days. He liked it so much that we bought the girl's version for his sister and a new one for him when he outgrew the first. Our only complaint is that the jacket no longer has a label for the child's name and phone number. For a jacket this expensive, you want to make it easy to return if it gets left behind.

Order a couple jackets based on the principle of laying as we are an outdoors family. The kids love the jacket and I know we will get spring, fall & winter out of it. I recommend this type of jacket with a good fleece and another layer and you kids will be doing great in outdoors!

This is one of the most verstaile jackets i own. I can wear it in almost any weather. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone.

My son loves this jacket. We use it as a shell over his North Face Denali and he stays dry and warm all day snowboarding. The jacket is long enough on him with a drawstring to keep the snow out (He is short for his age). My younger daughter will be inheriting this jacket and I will be buying another for my growing son. As for durabiity, go with other reviews as we only ski 1-2 trips per year and only get enough snow to sleigh once a year, if lucky.

We do a lot of skiing and this coat is a great shell to pair up with other layers. It keeps my son dry and skiing. The durablity is great for boys that are tough on clothes; it outlasts them.

I purchased this jacket impulsively... it fit perfectly. The material keeps you 100% dry. This jacket is also great for running in the rain, not making too much noise and extremely breathable.
