This is a Christmas gifl for my nephew which won't be opened until Christmas Eve so I won't know how much he likes it. All I know is that he picked out something similar to Boy Denali, but this jacket is the closest (style w/o hoodie# that he picked out from the web site, it's exactly what I'd expected. He hasn't tried it on, but it looks like it would fit him very well. We live in Texas so I think this jacket will be just perfect by itself or he can wear under a heavy jacket when it gets very cold. I hope he likes it as much as I do. For the past 4-5 years, I've purchased quite a few jackets/coat #mostly NorthFace) from Altrec with only one return--not the color that my daughter wanted--so needless to say I'm super happy with everything I purchase from Altrec, for the quality of products and superb customer service. I purchase each of my boys The North Face Undercover fleece and they loved them. On one of the fleece, the zipper fell off so I sent it back to North Face and they replaced the zipper and sent it back to me at no charge. I will buy this fleece again when they grow out of it.

The first time I put the jacket on, it was very uncomfortable under the entire arm and armpit area. I don't know what it is really, but I'm thinking it's the thick lining, which is the very lining that is sewed inside where the arm piece is of the jacket that feels uncomfortable because you can really feel it. Until now that I'v worn it for at least a week, it still feels awkward. We are returning this jacket because of this reason and also because the color we got, which is black, picks up A LOT of lint. I regret paying the price of over $55 for a jacket that doesn't fit and feel right, not too mention the jacket is a lint magnet.

This is my son's secound Northface jacket. It is a lightweight jacket that provides heavyduty protection from the cold weather. The material is very durable. This jacket is also fit to size. My son is 14 years old 113 lbs., and a XL boys coat fit him perfect with a little extra room. The only problem we enccountered from his first jacket is that he grew out of it. I recommend this jacket and assure you that it is worth every dollar spent.

My son got this as an early birthday gift. He is 13 and the jacket is a Boys XL. It fits him well. He is tall and thin. He loves it and wants to wear it everywhere. It's warm and comfortable.
