Backpacking in the rain conjures up images of wet, soggy gear, nowhere to sit down and slogging along muddy trails while never snapping a single photo – don't let this be his first camping experience. But a DAY hike in the rain with The North Face Zipline Rain Jacket for Boys means splashing happily along misty fresh green trails, catching tree drips on your tongue, and stopping in a shelter for a lunch break – that's what will get him hooked on the outdoors for life.
Waterproof and breathable, the kids' Zipline Jacket is made with 2-layer HyVent shell fabric to block out wind and rain, and lined with polyester mesh for a pleasant, dry feeling inside whether he's wearing it over a T-shirt or over a midweight fleece jacket. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hood help seal out the elements while a brushed collar and chin guard are soft against his skin.
At under 10 ounces, there's no reason to leave The North Face Boys' Zipline Rain Jacket at home, he'll barely even notice it in his day pack whether he's off to catch the bus to school or he's leading the way to the summit before an afternoon thunderstorm rolls in.
It's quite good

It's a bit smaller. Yes it's waterproof in light rain but don't expect to be waterproof in heavy rain. Good quality but their is no tag to write the owner details.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: Wears quicklyGreat rain jacket

This is a great wind and rain proof jacket. My son wore it on a seven day Boy Scout canoe trip in June, and it was perfect for warm weather adventures. He stayed absolutely dry in this jacket. The olive color blends well with Boy Scout uniform colors. It is light weight, comfortable, and durable. Wrinkle proof enough to be thrown in a dry bag and worn again looking like new. Washes well, too. A great buy!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, wind and water proofGreat jacket

My son loves this jacket. This is his second. He handed down his size XS (still in great condition) to his 5 year old little sister after 2 solid years of wear and he went up to the next size and chose a different color. He's happy and so is his little sister. Win/win! He's 7 years old. Tall but thin and he should get 2 years out of the size small as well. Great light weight jacket that we primarily use for rainy days.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of usesweet

Love it! I bought 2, one for my teen son and one for me! I bought an XL kid's jacket for myself, and it fits great. I'm usually a Women's small or medium. The only thing is the sleeves are a bit short for me. Great jacket! Perfect for our Northwest springtime! I'm very happy, and so is my son!
Love the jacket!!!!

Our son loves the color and fit of the jacket. The fabric appears to be breathable. The workmanship appears to be top notch. Our son has not yet tried the jacket in the rain, though.

Excellent waterproof rain jacket! The Northface never disappoints. I'm actually a S/M size in women's but I got the jacket in L in boys'. It's my second waterproof/rain jacket and probably my 7th or 8th The Northface jacket/outerwear.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valueGood Jacket

I just received it not that many weeks ago.It is for my son. He is tall for his age, but the size I bought was appropriate, but seemed snug. Overall a good quality jacket. I wish I would have gone up a size up, but that would be my only caution when buying this jacket. It has worked great, but like I said he will size out really soon,

Shipping too fast, the clothes, the color is very nice. Actually smaller than the picture is bright red. Yeah my height 50.3 in, which is very good. Cheaper price and good performance. But the retail portion of the band to be adjusted a little disadvantage. The colors are very nice.Bright red.Year looks bright. I'd like to recommend this product to a lot of people.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Low performanceQuality for a great price

I got this jacket on the sale price, and for the money, it is has awesome quality and style. The only drawback is there aren't any reflective surfaces so may not be visible at night.
Pros: Build quality, Great value, Cons: no reflectorthis jacket sucks

I just purchased three of these jackets for all three of my kids....the very first time they wore them they all got wet...all three kids were wet under there jackets!!! please don't waste your money on these jackets like I did. I read everything I could about them and thought I was purchasing a great kids rain jacket...I was very wrong. We live on the west coast and need good rain gear...this is not it...
Very nice Jacket
