The nylon taslan fabric along the knuckles and fingers minimizes the water penetration from melting snow and sloppy snowballs. These gloves are a good choice for a warm, comfortable and functional glove for all cool weather conditions. Great flexibility with finger grips really make it easy to pick up things while keeping your hands warm. Lightweight, breathable and good wind protection. These gloves are great all-around gloves. I wear them with North Face Power Stretch gloves as liners when it gets below 20 degrees. Cold hands when out scraping your vehicle on a snowy morning? Not after you get these Denali's! Good dexterity, with a soft and comfortable fit.

I liked these gloves so much I bought two pair, they are soft & comfortable with out being too hot. Although they are not a windstopper fabric, the 300 weight was perfect at 40 degrees in light wind & drizzle. The grippers on the tips of the fingers area a nice touch and really help out. You can't go wrong with these gloves!

Very warm and able to move fingers easily. Not bulky with good grips on the finger tips. Bought a pair for my father as well and he will not wear anything else while taking pictures in the cold.

Okay so last year I purchased the North Face Freeline glove with the hyvent shell, water resistance and everything (good glove) but I didn't get the dexterity that I wanted and found it almost impossible to drive. I was sceptical about the Denali glove because it's not water resistant and I get my hands wet quite a bit in the winter, any how, to make a long story short I got the Denali gloves and they are hands down the best all-around glove I've ever used in a cold, wet enviornment. To my surprise they actually kept my hands drier and warmer than the North Face freeline gloves did.

Overall, very good quality. Typical durability that comes to be expected with any North Face product. The only negative is that you can feel the seams in the finger area, and it they are a little rough.

If it's there I can't find the "300-weight fleece insulation" - these things are basically shells.
They are fine for cool days outdoors, but don't mistake them for real winter gloves. They definitely "breath" and on the first windy day you wear them out you'll wish you had something warmer on. The wind cuts right through these.
You can get some extra use out of these with the addition of a thin liner.
Build quality is okay, but not great.
I give these three stars not because they are bad in any particular way, just because they are completely average.

High quality fleece gloves, but they are really not that warm, and they are not windproof at all...I would definitely spring for the Windwall gloves, they're not that much more expensive.
