Love this hat!
I actually lost this hat, and went to 3 stores but all were sold out. Buying a replacement was the best decision, it is so warm and I get a lot of compliments on it. Also bought matching gloves.

Great beanie
This is a great beanie, especially for winters in Wisconsin. Very comfortable outdoors and indoors (think curling club). The North Face beanie is quality built and so far has been a great purchase.

Beanies for the whole family!
We bought four of the Denali beanies for our family for Christmas (my son wanted one of those "fuzzy hats"). I have the Bastille Green and it looks pretty groovy in person--I will definitely be turning heads. We love the color selection and the warmth. So far, we've even worn them to bed in our drafty old house! A word on sizing: we bought two in the children's size and feel that we could have given our son, who is 11, the adult size (the children's size fits heads up to 21" in circumference). He can still fit in the children's but he is probably at the limit for that hat. Otherwise, we love everything about these hats!

Best Skully I ever bought!
Im in Law Enforcement and my duties are usually in plain clothes, (under cover) and I have been out in the streets conducting survaillance on foot in Northern NJ and let me tell as of late its very cold outside and although I have the North Face Coat "ICY" I desperately needed something other than the hood of my coat to keep my head warm. I figured I would look into a skully of the same Brand North Face, and I found the denali..... Now I could be out there in the streets a long time just because of the Skully, I know we all lose 60 per cent of our body head through the top of the head and it makes your body cold, BUT NOT WITH THIS SKULLY! my head stays toasty warm and no heat escapes,,,,,, thank God the criminal element doesnt have thermal imaging equiptment cause out there with this Skully I would light up like the sun, NO exageration either.... I would definitely recommend this skully and this site to everyone......

Great piece of outerwear!!!

I just bought this hat to wear with my Denali jacket. It fits great, and it is really warm, and very soft. My teenage daughter now wants one!

I went skiing in this hat in 20 degree weather and it was very warm and comfortable.

I bought this Northface hat for my daughter in robin egg blue. Her friend saw it and was wondering where she bought it. We couldn't find any in a orchid, except at the Altrec site....The hats are warm, and fit most everyone....very stylish. The service was great!!!

Picture is decieving for the actual type of fabric
The name of the hat and the picture make it seem as though the fabric is a fleece. I bought this for my boyfriend because I thought the "denali" hat would match the "denali" jacket. The fabric of the hat is actually not fleece, although it looks like it in this picture. Hard to describe, but it's more shiny and almost furry. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice hat, but my boyfriend agrees that the fabric would be more popular with women. Hope this helps, happy shopping!

Great cozy hat
This beanie is very warm and extremely soft to the touch! It is also oversized for those who have slightly larger than normal heads. Fits over ears nicely. Great buy, you won't regret purchasing this item.

Does the job, looks good
Beanie is very soft. I was not aware when I bought as I'd visualized similar to other fleece beanies I'd purchased that were not so much so. Guess that's what "high loft" means. It's a bit less "sporty" (read: masculine) looking than I'd anticipated as a result, but overall a nice cap and it was for my wife, so it worked well for me.

Very Cozy!!!!!!!!!
Very warm and cozy!!!!!!!!!It was little to big for my head at first but then I became very comfortable with it. Everyone at work asks me where I got it, because in this Chicago weather everyone needs to be warm and stylish!!!!!

Warm Hat
I haven't tried it out in Wisconsin winter yet, but this hat is very soft and seems pretty toasty. Fit and looks good too.

Best beanie ever!

Cuddly and Cozy!
My friend has this hat in blue and I thought it was so cute! I ordered one in black, and LOVED it! So soft and warm! It feels nice over the ears and fits close so I don't look like a cone head. Another huge plus is that it doesn't make my head itch! I like it so much I decided I had to order another one in white! A perfect wintertime hat!

very soft
I bought this hat because I kept stealing my husband's knit beanie. I like it because it fits a bit looser on the head (b/c it is fleece as described) than the knit beanie, but tight enough to provide all the insulation you need from a beanie. Great service from Altrec.

Soft and warm
