XL fits like Petite Women M

I just bought this TNF Girls' Blaze jacket for myself! I'm short <5'1"> but not skinny <125 lbs> with a 36B chest. The overall length and the sleeve length are perfect. It's not fitted so a little roomy around the chest and so it fits like Women's Medium except for the length. If you are an average height adult, the sleeves would be too short. If you're short AND skinny, then it'd be too big for you. I've been eyeing this jacket in the adult size but they're way more expensive and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend money on something that I need only when we go camping or traveling. This jacket is staying in the car - it's very light weight and compresses into it's own pocket. Instead of my usual black I got the pink this time - cute bright pink which I thought might be better when I'm in the woods. I like it so much that I'm thinking of buying a L for my almost 11 year old because it'll be great when she goes to camp this summer.
