The North Face Girls' Clairy Jacket

I am a small woman (5 foot 1 inch,) normal size, not slim. I purchased the girls extra large and it fits well, except a little tight in the hips. I can wear it though. Has a nice nipped in waist, well-fitting hood, velcro strips for closing if you don't want to bother zipping. I bought an off-while color I think they call moonlight, and it is beautiful, goes with everything. My only warning is that a small woman miight find the woman's size small fits better.

My daughter loves it. The jacket is a great color and seems like it will do the trick for wind and water. Kids are all about comfort and I just wish a the jacket would have a softer lining inside so when she wears a short sleeve shirt, she will not complain.

I ordered this jacket for my 11 yr old daughter because she has grown out of her other rain jackets. She likes it even though I ordered one size larger than I knew she needed so she can wear it longer. She especially likes the elastic in the mid waist, which gives the jacket a nice shape and is very flattering on. The construction seems very good, durable and excellent rain protection. The size 18-20 is large on her but she is quite slim and tall, because of the elastic in the waist, she is able to wear the larger size and have it still be flattering, a bonus because she will be able to wear it longer! I love the weight of this jacket and she tells me it is more comfortable and breathable than others she has worn. All in all, very happy with this purchase and with Altrec's quick shipping and easy to navigate website!

I recently purchased this clairy jacket for my daughter. And i think its really great! For rainy days , bad weather. Its very light, and a much Prettier then a regular yellow or plain plastic rain jacket.
