durable go to jacket will last a long time. repels light rain and snow on my trip to Portland OR. and so cheap at clearance price with Altrec. I am happy with everything I received so far

I have a small frame and could get away with shopping from girl's line and save money but I am also a 38 year old mom of 2 and I have to make sure I dress appropriate for my age. This black girl's gazer down north face coat was such a good find for me. The black hyVent shell and embossed lace pattern is SO nice, quite dressed up and I have gotten so many complements. Love the attached hood too. Not too bulky, which is good. I usually wear adult small and I got the XL girls...Fit is a little large but ok in case I need to layer with a sweater. Would have loved a better cuff but i'm settling for the velcro. I Love Altrec... This is my 2nd north face coat from this site and I'm sure I'll shop here again and again.

Not the best from North Face. No cuff protection....cold air goes right up sleeve. Runs small. Good cold weather warmth materials. Returning coa, purchased a different North Face an very happy with it.

I bought this coat for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. The purple is a great color and the tonal design adds a bit of fashion. She was really excited about the features and I especially like that it fits a bit long and has a great hood. We're very happy with this purchase.

So far the jacket seems wonderful. It fits great - true to the size chart - and its very stylish, while offering warmth. It has not been "tested" yet in the rain and extreme cold. We did check out all the features, and we love the pockets, glove clip, key clip and the "system" map on the inside of the jacket - that tells you about all the features of the jacket. Our preteen just loved the purple color and the "lace" pattern, which is important - so we'll know she enjoy wearing the jacket.
