Nice warm jacket that is perfect for winter and snowy days. Fur around the hood dresses it up and the belt is cute but does not cinch in the waist which was a little disappointing.

this is a very nice jacket, fit perfect my doughter love it. i will order another jacket for me and my doughter. This jacket is not only nice is comfortable, warm and it look beautiful in person.

My daughter loves her new coat! It's stylish and very warm. It gets extremely cold and windy in the mid-west, and she walks to school in below 0 temps. - this jacket should keep her warm (it's kept her warm so far, but we're only at 25 degrees). We like the length of it (it covers the hips), the attached insulated hood (the removable fur is a great bonus), and the adjustable-velcro cuffs. My daughter really likes the inner zippered i-pod pocket which many girls jacket lack. She also likes the belted design, which I also like but am concerned the plastic clip may not hold up over time. Altrec was extremely helpful in figuring out which coat would be best for our harsh winters and usage. They were knowledgable of the products they are selling and very patient with all my questions. I have recommended them to several friends.

My nine years old daughter owns a NF Greenland down jacket size M. It is one of her favorite down jackets and she has worn it each winter for the past three years. She has outgrown the jacket so I ordered a bigger size XL for her from Altrec. I am impressed that Altrec is fast in shipping. It took only two days to arrive from West Coast to East Coast. The package was perfect and the live chat provided by Altrec was also helpful. My daughter absolutely loves the new jacket as it is sturdy, wind-proof, water-proof, and is warm and cozy like her old down jacket. The new NF down jacket comes with a non-adjustable belt buckle. Even though it is not a big issue, I wish the belt is adjustable like the old one. Overall the quality is excellent and we are happy with the purchase. Thank you Altrec for the great services.

My wife has one and we wanted one for our daughter. I was glad to know that The North Face offers the same quality in clothes for kids. My daughter is XS and I went as far as buying sizes in this style all the way to large so that she will always have a warm jacket.

i like the price and promotion. if this jacket can be 3" more long in length that i will be very good. becuase it is very short and it is only cover up to the hip and make your bull feel cold.

Not Outstanding As I Expected

This product is a North Face so I am sure it will withstand the winters we have in the Washington DC area with no problem. It is just not visually what I expected. My husband has a black North Face and his coat just looks better. This Girl's Greenland coat has a dull look to it and is not a form fitting coat as you would expect for the price. My daughter and I both were a little bit diasppointed with the look of this coat. It looks like it has been washed several times and the coat just kind of hangs on her. I can not get the belt tight enough around her waist to make it look fashionable. The arms are the right length but the rest of the coat just does not fit her well. If you are looking for a form fitting bright shiny coat for your tween, do not buy this one. There are other North face coats that have a better look to it. If warmth is what matters most to you, then this is probably a good bet. JMO!!
