This is another fantastic North Face product! It is super light-weight and very warm, which helps fight the Chicago winters. I am 5'5 / 135lbs, and the Girl's XL fits great. I even have room for a bulky sweater under it. I have to admit the material is a little shinnier that I would have liked and the hood is rather thin so if blows off easily. Other than that, it's well worth the money!

I bought this coat to my sister because she walks five blocks to school every day. She told me that it's a very nice coat, it's warm and light weight. She can fight the cold weather with it in Chicago. Thank you Altrec.

I bought this parka for my daughter because she had lots of jackets that were nice and warm, but she complained about her thighs feeling cold. Prior to finding this parka, we tried several and while I had no doubt they would keep her warm they were too bulky and made movement rather uncomfortable for her. I have this parka in women's size, so I thought if love my parka so will she, so I bought her the same parka in junior's size and she adores it! Plus all her friends love it too as it is a 'cool' parka and I no longer have to worry that she's cold. I also love that it's machine washable and that the hood detaches. The only complaint I have is that this parka does not have the same heavy duty zipper that my parka (which is identical to hers) has.

I live in Northern Colorado and I love my new coat. I love everything about it except the hood which is thin and doesn't have any down in it. I'm an overweight short woman who can fit into the xl. It is a perfect fit for me.
