The North Face Girl's Nuptse Jacket

Make skiing, snowboarding and winter camping outings fun and comfortable with the 600+ down fill warmth of the Nuptse Jacket. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-designed kid's jacket on the market, which makes sense when you consider that this Nuptse is a scaled-down version of one of the most successful adult jackets in the outdoor industry. The Nuptse is Zip-in compatible, which means that you can zip it into other shell garments made by The North Face. This Zip-in feature isn't mandatory in foul weather because the shell is made with waterproof and breathable two-ply HyVent® Palisade 4.1 fabric, but you might want to augment the two-ply protection with something a little heavier for snowboarding and icy sliding. The 600+ down fill is high-quality, lightweight insulation designed to keep kids comfortable through a range of temperatures, making the Nuptse ideal for extended ski and snowboard school programs.

Another great Northface product!
I bought 2 jackets for each of my girls, ages 7 and 10 who begged me for them. I couldn't say no as they needed a new warm jacket, and I had my first Northface down jacket for 22 years. They both love their jackets and have worn them in a variety of temperatures both cold and moderate.

Super warm, Super light, Super nice down jacket
Very warm during the winter with a super light weight that makes it easy to move and gives nice slim look!! I am a woman size S, but I can go with this Girl's XL. Really love it.

A great buy !
I bought this for my daughter. It is extremely well tailored, and I didn't realize the Hyvent shell was waterproof so there ws no need for a shell under normal conditions. She has worn it pretty much on every trip we've done. It compresses down to nothing and the inner pocket is also a stuff sack. One thing for nit-pickers - the construction is sew-through (not baffle) so you are may encounter cold spots at the seams. (to be fair I have yet to find a baffle sewn down jacket in the US even among the high end range) However, practically, this does not pose a problem if you have a sweater onunderneath.

Perfect winter jacket!!
I bought this jacket for both of my daughters ages 6 and 9 and they both love it. It is the perfect winter jacket. It is very warm, but very light weight and not constricting at all!
