Good jacket but a little lighter than I would have wanted. The denali jacket is a little heavier. Also fleece is more fluffy than other jackets, kind of like a stuffed animal but my daughter says its "cozy" and she loves it!

I received my North Face in the mail today and I couldn't wait to open the package. when I opened the package I quickly tried it on and it fit alright; the sleeves are a little small but it was a alright fit. I would definitely recommend this jacket because the color I got (Coffee Brown) was beautiful, its very warm, and I also loved the fact that the jacket had a hood on it. OVERALL price and quality is fantastic.

The North Face Oso Hoodie is a warm and nice-looking fleece that my children just love to wear. We do not have to "battle" with our children anymore to wear a jacket when it is very cold because they want to wear it. It is a very comfortable and high-quality fleece!

I absolutely loved this Northface. The only downfall is that I have long arms, so I had to return it for a larger size. Other than that, the product overall was excellent. Great fit and cute look for younger girls.

Can't go wrong with The North Face...great quality. TNF jackets last forever and they wash well. Purchased medium for both my 7 and 9 year olds. Good fit with some room for growth for my 7 year old. They haven't taken them off since Christmas. Actually came back to Altrec to purchase another in another color. Best prices for TNF can be found at Altrec.

This is the absolute perfect jacket for my daughter. Since she is tall, I was concerned about the sleeve and jacket lengths. When she received it, she immediately put it on. Her first comment was "It's so soft". She loved the color and the fit so much that she didn't want to take it off. My daughter is really into fashion and purple is her favorite color. So this jacket has become her favorite jacket. She wears this jacket to school, outside playing, or just hanging around with her friends. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

i love the northface jackets. very warm and durable and attractive looking! having three girls, they are extremely happy with their brand-name jackets and the mother is happy knowing they are warm in frigid weather and that is what we endure here in new england. the jackets never go out of style and last a long time!! i love to wash them knowing they look as good as new when they come out of the wash. very satisfied with my purchases of northface!!

I ordered this coat for my 9 year old daughter and picked the large, because that was the only size left in the color I chose. I figured it would be big, but it fits her perfect! So I would definitely order a size larger than you normally would. My daughter usually wears a 8/10 and this is a 14/16. Overall the coat is awesome and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! My daughter loves it too!

Just bought this jacket for our 3 and 1/2 YO daughter and she loves it! Classic TNF quality and fits her great. She likes how soft the fleece is and the hood when the wind kicks up. She is a little bit big for a 3 and 1/2 YO (almost 40 lbs) , so the XS is a perfect fit, though you can still layer and she'll definitely get at least another year out of it. Can't comment on the durability just yet but as always I am sure TNF won't disappoint!

The jacket is a warm fleece and has a nice fit! I will definately buy it again. It is soft and cozy with a fit that is not too snug. Love the fact it has a hood for the windy days and rain.

We got this for our 10 year old - and she loves it. The hoodie goes with everything and offers comfort, warmth, and good style. In winter weather that varies from cold to colder, she is warm enough and it fits in her locker. She's happy and warm, we're happy! Money well spent (especially because our daughter kicked in too!).

I have them in five different colors...some with hood some not (so I can use them as insulation under my snowboarding jacket.). These are so soft that I now rarely wear my sweaters. It is also cut very comfortably. There is no doubt about these... Only negative thing is that they shed on seat belts and purse straps.

This is just a fantastic jacket for my daughter. She has many fleeces, but none that are as soft as this! She loves the hood too, which is hard to find on a fleece! It is extremely well made and will be passed down to her sister for use. This jacket is well worth the money.

Overall a great jacket. Very soft and cuddly. Provides a lot of warmth. Sizing runs very small, in my opinion. My daughter is very petite 10 year old, so based on her measurements, I went with the Medium 10-12. I'll be lucky if she gets 3-4 months wear out of the jacket. I would exchange it, but it was a present from Santa and the tags came off immediately. Other than an issue with sizing, I am pleased with the product for the price I paid as I got it on sale for 40%. Would have been totally disappointed if I paid full price.

I purchased this jacket for my daughter for this winter. It's true to size (XL in girls) and she'll get plenty of wear out of it for this winter. She LOVES these jackets (as do I) since they're much more softer than the Denali jackets. I was very happy to see her size and color (she wanted black this time) were available at a great price. She'll definitely wear it well! She's a tall young girl and slim and the overall fit is perfect!

This coat was purchased for my eight year old daughter. It has proven to be very durable and resilient to the numerous washes and abuse that an child puts on a coat. It is a very warm coat and unless the temps get below thirty, she does not layer anymore than just a t-shirt or sweatshirt underneath. She pairs this coat with the NorthFace fleece gloves that I would highly recommend as well. Well worth the cost!! Shipping from Altrec.com was super fast, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will be back.

Friends' children/grandchildren have/have had these and I've wanted to order for my 3 & 4 year old granddaughters for a long time. I know they'll last as others have passed on as their girls have outgrown. I wasn't disappointed in the colors (they're vibrant) or the fabric (soft and comfy). They're true to size and the girls' love them!

This jacket is has a great look and feel! Although it is short in fitting my arm length when I extend my arms, it fits nicely otherwise. Great product, but sizing is just a little small!

The jacket was super soft, but the cut is short. The sleeves were too short on my daughter. She wears a 12 to 14 (14 for the length), I ordered the 14/16 and it was too small.

I bought this for my new kindergartener for waiting for the bus this fall and I think it is going to be perfect! It is so warm and cozy and looks adorable on her. It is a thinner fleece so I do not think it will offer superior warmth but over a sweatshirt it should be great. I would highly reccomend for cool fall and spring days!

I purchased my daughter this for a bday present. She has a denali and a nuptse down coat so I went with the oso since it is a different style. Purchased the bright blue one And is a very pretty color Keeps her warm and cozy. Fits well too. Only one problem about the oso style is it leaves the fuzzy material on your clothes, I have a white one and gets all over me and hers leaves blue fuzzies behind. Overall I am happy with this purchase and it was one of my daughters presents!

I purchased the North Face Oso Hoodie in Ibiza Blue, size XS for my 4.5 y/o daughter. The minute I took it out of the package, she put it on and wouldn't take it off. My 2 y/o daughter spent the rest of the day trying to take it off her, because, it seems, she wants one too! The jacket is well made, very soft and cozy. The color is beautiful, better in person than in photos. I am glad I ordered the XS. My daughter is 43 inches tall, 22 inches at chest, and 20 inches at waist. The shoulders fit perfectly, the body length is just a tad long, and the sleeves are definitely on the long side, but because of the elastic around the wrists, they still fit. The XXS would have just fit her now, but with the XS, she has room to grow a bit more. Now, to get the NF Oso in a toddler size...

Jacket very warm and comfy. My daughter loves iy and her friends do also. The color is bright. The only thing isdon't wash with fabric softener because it causes the jacket to matt together.

North Face jackets are very popular and a great weight for fall and running in and out of school... My daughter is a size 12/14 in clothes but I ordered an XL jacket to give her a little extra room to grow into. Unfortunately, I will have to exchange it for a large even though the sleeves may be too short. There is a big jump in the Large and Extra Large sizes. Wish the North Face jackets were made with slightly longer sleeves.

I bought this jacket for my 10 year old niece. She absolutely loved the bright pink color and the soft feel of the fleece. I've been told it's already an everyday item in her wardrobe! We particularly chose the jacket because of the hood, and it's ability to be worn as a sweatshirt on warmer days and a layer under a heavier jacket on cold days.

I bought one of these for both of my girls, and they both love them! They are super soft and comfortable. As with all North Face products, it is made well, and I expect it to last many seasons. (we are on season 2) They use it as their spring and fall jacket, and as a liner to other winter coats.

The jacket is lovely, soft and warm. Good for a fall/spring jacket in the Boston area. The size chart that is listed online at Altrec.com is not correct, however. I ordered a size L (14-16) which it says fits height 57.5 - 64". The tag on the jacket said, however, that it fits height only up to 62". And, the tag is correct. My daughter is 60" and it will be small in another inch or two.

This is a great casual jacket that holds up amazingly! I have had this product for a while now and have not had to buy a new casual jacket since. I have used it in cooler weather and it has truly kept me warmer than a big and bulky coat. The design is nice and modern too! You really cannot go wrong with a Northface!!

I had trouble finding this product on other websites. It seems the Baccio brown color was either in short supply or high demand. Altrec had the hoodie as well as the matching gloves and hat and my 10 year old, for one more, year has faith that there really is a a Santa Claus.

I was initially a bit hesitant to order online and ordered the "wrong" color and without a hood, but when returned/exchanged it for a bright pink "hoodie" my daughter was thrilled with this jacket and color. She loves how soft it is and it is perfect for chilly New England mornings over a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt. She is petite for her age (12) but the size L fit her well with a bit of room for growing. She is a most happy child! It is a bit more costly than I would like to pay but as she wears it so much it is well worth buying one jacket that she will wear all the time. The last jacket like this we had from North Face did fade a little bit and looked a bit worn around the wrist area; nevertheless it got lots of use and she enjoyed it tremendously. Go for it!

I bought this jacket for myself to save some money. I am between a size 4 and 6 and this jacket fits great. I have fairly short arms, so if your arms are long, the sleeves might be too short. The kids selection had more fun colors and the prices were better. I am very happy with this jacket and get lots of compliments on it.

This hoodie is cozy and comfy. It is not as thick as the Denali jacket, better for early fall or late spring in New England, or great as a layer under a jacket.

This Hoodie very warm, soft and very comfy. Mine keeps me very warm!! I live in minnesota and the winter is about 5 months long.. it can get as cold as -60 degrees and it still keeps me warm. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

I bought this jacket for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. I got the brown color and it is very soft. Not as warm as her denali thermal but she loves it because it is softer and has a hood. Also, I found that is fits true to size and is actually a little roomy. I had read reviews that said is was on the small side but I did not find this to be true. Shipping was fast and I received the jacket within a couple of days.
