Created with a smooth, dense layer of warm, high-loft fleece, The North Face Osolita Jacket for girls is a practical outer layer on cool calm days and a perfect middle layer for a shell on blustery, rainy days. The silky-smooth texture makes the Osolita a favorite pick among girls who play and go to school in cold winter conditions. The extended brushed collar and elastic cuffs also make this jacket an ideal insulating piece beneath a skiing or snowboarding shell. The North Face made the fit on their Osolita Jacket fairly close, so while it layers well over a silkweight top or lightweight fleece pullover, it might feel a bit snug over a heavy fleece layer or a thick knit sweater--it all depends on the exact sizing that you choose. Other convenient features include zippered hand pockets for securing valuables and an interior ID label that's essential for sorting out ski school outerwear or settling sibling disputes.

I bought this jacket for my pre-teen daughter and she LOVES it. Perfect fit, stylish look, super soft fabric and warm enough for cold fall/early winter days. We bought it in black, which looks great and is really versatile, but beware - the dye does "rub off" and stain light colored clothing and skin on occasion. I plan to buy the women's version for myself, but I think I'll go with a lighter color to avoid that issue. Overall, this is a really nice coat and worth the price you pay for the warmth, fit and style.

Nice jacket, fits snugly, perhaps the size is a little on the small side, you might want to size up. Overall though a very nice piece of clothing and the one to whom it was given is very happy with it.

I bought this North Face fleece for my 13 year old daughter for her birthday. This is her third fleece over the years. She outgrows one and I buy her another one. In other words, she has never worn them out. She outgrows them long before that would ever happen. She wears them year round and just loves them! This one in particular is so comfy - due to the plushy fleece. Worth every penny!

This jacket is absolutely adorable. It does seem to run very small and my daughter is little for her age. I sent back the orginal and went up two sizes. Other thant the size issue it is warm, soft and everything she wanted.

I bought this jacket for Spring/Fall weather in Germany for my 10 year old daughter. It is the perfect spring jacket. She wears it everywhere. I've already had to wash it, and it washed up great. Bought this for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, we left for vacation bedore it arrived. She was so excited to get back and even more excited that we still have crummy weather so she can wear her new jacket! She has wanted the soft, furry fleece for quite a while. The color is beautiful and the quality is excellent, as you would expect from North Face. I would say it runs a bit small - we bought large on purpose though, to last. She normally wears M10/12, I got a L14/16 A very satisfied girl and mom. Of course, her sister wants one too.

Daughter loves this jacket

Our 10 yr old daughter fell in love with this jacket and begged for one after seeing it in a local department store. She loves wearing it all the time because it is warm and very soft. The fit seems to run a little on the snug side so we purchased a Large. We expect it to last long enough for her to wear as she grows more.
