The jacket fits perfectly, my daughter loves the color (which means she is actually wearing it on rainy days) and it keeps her dry! I would definitely recommend spending the extra money for the North Face jackets, they keep you warmer and hold up well enough to make great hand me downs.

What a great deal
I purchased this north face resolve jacket based on others reviews. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs, the girl's XL fitted me well. I live in California, and I can't wait for raining season to try on this jacket. The material feels durable, and the print looks OK even though an adult wears it. Altrec had a great price on this jacket with fast delivery. Will definitely purchase more items in the future.

Solid Purchase
If the rain is pouring, you should be wearing this jacket. It's light enough for the torrential downpours of NY summers and there is enough room to wear over a fleece during the fall or early spring. I got stuck in the rain once, and I was completely dry under this jacket. I like that it is light, waterproof, and easy for travel. However, it isn't warm enough for winter even over a fleece.

Just Right!
This is a great jacket! I'm so happy to have it. Just what I was looking for! It really keeps me dry and warm, too. I love the gravity purple color. Fits perfectly with room for sweater underneath if needed.

The JACKET
its a very good jacket it helps out with the rain and cold weather . its comfy and roomy . it has a hardshell so the water does not get in . it has a nice design it keeps your body warm . another jacket / sweater is duable inside . this jacket does last long . it protects from rain or wind . if something ever spills on it , its not hard to remove.

Love this jacket
I have always wanted a North Face wind jacket and really liked this one. I have had it for over a year now and it is still an awesome jacket. We had a hurrican about a couple months ago and I wore this and was completely dry underneath when I came inside. I am 23 and am about 5'2 and weigh 115 and the girls size large fits me perfect with lots of room still.

Great for rain
This is the second Resolve Jacket I have purchased. I bought the first for one daughter earlier this summer and loved it so much I just got another for my other daughter. They are light weight with just a mesh inside, so if it's cold one has to wear a warm layer underneath. They will keep you dry. We found them to run a bit small so I would recommend ordering up a size- especially if you will wear a sweater/fleece underneath. All in all a great jacket.

Awesome
Great Item! It runs very large however it is comfortable and it is waterproof. It is not as thick so it is not too wind resistant.
Girls usually wear XL but this XL is enormous.

North Face does it again!
My daighters love this jacket! I purchased two of these jackets and I have one of my own. Fit is good and it provides outstanding comfort, dryness & wind protection. I do wish it had the bottom up zipper capability, pit zips and adjustable straps for the wrists. You will not be disappointed with the Resolve jacket!

Great design.
Good design quality. Great attention to detail. Great for rain as well as blocking the wind. If you have children and need protection, this jacket works well. You can even layer under it for added warmth.

I am very happy with this jacket! Only thing that could be improved is a tighter cinch at sleeve openings, the cuff at end of sleeve should fit tighter around wrists.

great for cali weather!
Great jacket! Bought this for the rainy season in California. I'm not exactly sure if this is great for extreme weather yet simply because I haven't been in extreme weather yet! (Still beginning fall) However, this jacket has YET to prove me wrong-- thin jacket, layer it on with a sweater if it gets too cold, but WIND PROOF and WATER PROOF for sure!
This jacket fits big though. I have a small frame-- I'm 5'3" and 103 lbs and got an extra large. The jacket is pretty big, but no complaints. It IS a rain jacket, keeps me comfortably warm from head to part of my thigh.

I love this jacket for my 10 year old daughter. It is very lightweight yet durable. A great addition for a rainy day with wind. Plus versitile enough to be able to pull over another light weight sweater and not be bulky.

Very satisfied; great price. I'm about 5'2" and almost 135lbs and it fits pretty good. The length of the jacket itself is good, but the sleeves are a tad too short, a girls xl may fit me better because of that. Love the softer lining around the neck and that the hood can be velcro-ed in. Great detail on coat for the price. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but would assume its waterproof since its a rain jacket. The light weight is nice because it could be comfortable for different weather in between seasons.

This coat holds up well to the Oregon rain and wind, its really comfortable and the hood stays on. The only thing I don't like about it is that the arm length is a little too short for me and I don't really have too long of arms, it covers my arm when my arm is at my side but it goes up past my wrist when I put my arm up.

Durable and Comfortable
For the price, this jacket is great. I bought it for my daughter as a basic durable rain jacket and it was perfect for what we bought it for. It probably won't hold up against any hurricanes, but it definitely will protect your hair and keep you dry from any rain.

Nice product
This jacket is very light weight and thin. It is good for the spring and fall time. I am 5'6, 135 lbs and the x large in girls fits me just right. I love the hood on this jacket. It isn't too big nor too small. I suppose it is water proof.

nice color and fit for tiny lady
I bought it in extra large size and it fits me too. I'm 24 years old. 5'2" tall and 113 pounds and it fit perfectly to me. I like the color so colorful and brighten up a rainy day.
It's waterproof and keep you dry but it's not a warm jacket. You might need to wear another hoodie or fleece for base layer.

Amazing jacket
I brought my daughter to Nordstorms to try it on before buying it online since Altrec has exclusive colors. I got the light blue with a dark blue accent. Its adorable and fits well. Its a little thin so she wears a sweatshirt underneath it.

Resolve jacket
Purchased the jacket for my granddaughter. She loves the jacket. The quality is outstanding. I ordered a large and the fit is just right for a l3 year old. The jacket sheds both the wind and rain. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Good Value for the Money
I purchased this jacket for my seventeen year old daughter. I ordered a youth xlarge and it fits great. She is 5'5" and weighs 120 pounds. It is light weight and is long enought in the back to cover her rear. It also has a hood which is great for the rain. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Another Awesome North Face Product

Exceptional quality at a price
The North Face makes clothing with excellent attention to detail and the Resolve Jacket is no exception. It is difficult to comment objectively on the breath-ability of the jacket, but it appears to work for my daughter on easy hikes in a light drizzle. The internal mesh is probably the feature that most helps alleviate any clamminess. All in all it's a great jacket, but great jackets rarely come at a value price point.

Good fit for petite adults!
After reading the many reviews and looking at the size chart provided on the site I was quite confused about what size to purchase. Many posts described purchases for small adults but did not include what size they went with. The ones that did name the size were petite but not exactly my size. I think sleeve length is a big concern as well. I just received my size L and I am a small adult, 5'3"(and a bit), 100lbs and have, needless to say, a very small frame, which makes it frustrating to shop. In any case the large was perfect for me. So if you are my size or smaller get the large. The sleeves are just right. A medium would actually fit my torso but the sleeves would probably be extremely short. The jacket is loose fitting but doesn't look too loose. It is just in between a fitted look and a comfortable fit. The jacket falls right at the below the hip for me, so there is good moderate coverage for rain. Good for layering a fleece underneath or any other layers. I also though it would make a nice shell for spring skiing and it definitely fits the bill. It is also easily compressible and great for packing in your bag for camping. Additionally, Altrec ships expediently even with free shipping!

Comfortable and Well Designed
Our eight year old daughter instantly loved it. She likes the color (Gum Pink), that it is rain resistant and says it is "comfortable and flexible". As a mom, I like the hood--it fits nicely at the crown of the head and does not cover her eyes when she has it on, as some jackets do. The elastic in the hood keeps the hair dry and the little brim on top keeps raindrops out of the face. I like that it has zippered pockets. It is well designed; the contours look pleasing to the eye. It could be an inch or so longer.

Great fit... even for small adults!
I recently bought this for my girlfriend. Now I will mention she is 20. Not really a "girl" but this size worked best. She is 5'3'' and about 100lbs and this fits her great! She loves the slim, modern fit. Altrec was great about shipping. It took a couple days to process and 4-5 to ship. Excellent product matched with excellent service.
