This jacket is very light weight and thin. It is good for the spring and fall time. I am 5'6, 135 lbs and the x large in girls fits me just right. I love the hood on this jacket. It isn't too big nor too small. I suppose it is water proof.

This jacket that I purchased is perfect for spring weather. A great light weight jacket for tons of outdoor activities. I love the color as well, it is very bright and cheerful.

I bought it in extra large size and it fits me too. I'm 24 years old. 5'2" tall and 113 pounds and it fit perfectly to me. I like the color so colorful and brighten up a rainy day. It's waterproof and keep you dry but it's not a warm jacket. You might need to wear another hoodie or fleece for base layer.

I bought this jacket for my 14-year old, fashion-conscious daughter for Christmas. She loves it - it's lightweight, but warm. Stylish and comfortable. And the colors are fabulous. I would definitely recommend it!

I brought my daughter to Nordstorms to try it on before buying it online since Altrec has exclusive colors. I got the light blue with a dark blue accent. Its adorable and fits well. Its a little thin so she wears a sweatshirt underneath it.

Purchased the jacket for my granddaughter. She loves the jacket. The quality is outstanding. I ordered a large and the fit is just right for a l3 year old. The jacket sheds both the wind and rain. I would highly recommend this jacket.

This jacket was the perfect rain gear for my daughter who likes to be outside in all weather. Very water and wind proof. The only sad thing was it was so great it was stolen at school. Make sure to put your name in it!

I purchased this jacket for my seventeen year old daughter. I ordered a youth xlarge and it fits great. She is 5'5" and weighs 120 pounds. It is light weight and is long enought in the back to cover her rear. It also has a hood which is great for the rain. I would highly recommend this jacket.

I purchased this jacket for my daughter who is away at college. She told me that this particular jacket is worn all over campus and because she spends a good deal of her time traversing the same campus in all types of weather, I fealt this is just what she needed to brave the elements. She absolutely loves it and wouldn't change anything about it's style or price -- great job North Face!

Bought this jacket for my daughter whi is 12 ..we live in the PNW. It rains alot. She needed it to wear over a school fleece when it rains. She loves it and so do I. I want one for myself. The light blue is a very pretty color. True to size.

This jacket is awesome! It fits me perfectly, and it keeps me from getting wet in the rain. The hood is perfect because it keeps the rain out of my face. I would definately reccomend this jacket. =)

I bought 2 of these jackets for each of my daughters in pink and blue! They both loved it!!! My girls are both teenagers that can fit into kids size jackets- bought the L and XL. The fit was perfect. They jackets are PERFECT esp for the occasional rains we have here in San Diego!!! LOVE<3<3<3

Would definitely recommned this jacket. Wanted a mesh lining and good coverage and this provides it. The hood stays on. The jacket runs large, so good for layering.

The North Face makes clothing with excellent attention to detail and the Resolve Jacket is no exception. It is difficult to comment objectively on the breath-ability of the jacket, but it appears to work for my daughter on easy hikes in a light drizzle. The internal mesh is probably the feature that most helps alleviate any clamminess. All in all it's a great jacket, but great jackets rarely come at a value price point.

After reading the many reviews and looking at the size chart provided on the site I was quite confused about what size to purchase. Many posts described purchases for small adults but did not include what size they went with. The ones that did name the size were petite but not exactly my size. I think sleeve length is a big concern as well. I just received my size L and I am a small adult, 5'3"(and a bit), 100lbs and have, needless to say, a very small frame, which makes it frustrating to shop. In any case the large was perfect for me. So if you are my size or smaller get the large. The sleeves are just right. A medium would actually fit my torso but the sleeves would probably be extremely short. The jacket is loose fitting but doesn't look too loose. It is just in between a fitted look and a comfortable fit. The jacket falls right at the below the hip for me, so there is good moderate coverage for rain. Good for layering a fleece underneath or any other layers. I also though it would make a nice shell for spring skiing and it definitely fits the bill. It is also easily compressible and great for packing in your bag for camping. Additionally, Altrec ships expediently even with free shipping!

Our eight year old daughter instantly loved it. She likes the color (Gum Pink), that it is rain resistant and says it is "comfortable and flexible". As a mom, I like the hood--it fits nicely at the crown of the head and does not cover her eyes when she has it on, as some jackets do. The elastic in the hood keeps the hair dry and the little brim on top keeps raindrops out of the face. I like that it has zippered pockets. It is well designed; the contours look pleasing to the eye. It could be an inch or so longer.

I recently bought this for my girlfriend. Now I will mention she is 20. Not really a "girl" but this size worked best. She is 5'3'' and about 100lbs and this fits her great! She loves the slim, modern fit. Altrec was great about shipping. It took a couple days to process and 4-5 to ship. Excellent product matched with excellent service.

Bought this jacket for my 3 girls - size XS, S & M in snapdragon yellow, aurora pink & shoreline blue. Love the colors and it fits perfectly for my 4, 6 & 8 year olds with enough room for thick clothes underneath. Very happy with the service of Altrec. Quick & easy!
