Heckler laptop Backpack

I purchased the Heckler laptop backpack for my 7th grade daughter. She loves it. The inside is quite detailed, with special lining for her laptop. Provides nice protection for the laptop. Inside there are many well structured areas to hold everything from pens and pencils to cell phone and ipod. The size seams a little long for a 7th grader but she, at 5'4" feels quite comfortable with it on her back. We ordered it in Pink plaid. The "pink" is so subtle my daughter feels it should have been called "blue" plaid, but loves it just the same. However, the inside structure is quite pink. Overall we would recommend this backpack for comfort, style and durability.

This is the best backpack I've ever purchased. It holds a lot without looking really bulky, and when you aren't carrying a big load, the side and bottom straps allow you to compress the pack down for an even slimmer look. The shoulder straps are nicely padded, and I love the mesh pockets on both sides. Being a college student who likes the outdoors, I love that there's plenty of room for books and a sleeve for my laptop, AND the pack is also durable and comfortable enough for all-day hikes. Highly suggested, and well worth the money.

This backpack replaces my brief case and has made the trek back and forth to work for over a year now. It is perfect for carrying a laptop and the all the items I need for a busy day of work!

I really enjoy using this backpack everyday for school. It comes with a laptop compartment to hold your laptop and it also has plenty of room to keep binds, folder, and textbooks. Only downside is there is a lot of room so if you dont have that much to bring to school, you are left with extra space. I would definitely recommend this backpack.

This backpack fits a lot, my laptop, clothes and whatnot. I bought the Saratoga Green & it looks great. The shoulder straps are very comfortable for wearing all day long. I highly recommend this pack to anyone.

Good backpack. As in feels good at your back. Wish it has lots of pockets and padding at the bottom to protect laptop from falls. Worth for the price.

This is a great backpack! It's a little pricy but worth every penny, especially when it's being worn for the entire day. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and there is a good amount of back padding. This pack is great for a hike in the woods or a day at the amusement park. A must have.

I got the Cardinal Red for my trip to India,a two week adventure hiking the Himalayas,through rivers,hot weather,old buses...it worked great,my laptop was secure,I had plenty of space for a change of clothes,never had to worry about my documents getting wet,and it was comfortable to carry around.

I absolutely love this bag. I got the Saratoga green and it's a really pretty color. There's so much room in the bag for your laptop and textbooks and still room to pack a lunch or throw in a sweatshirt on top. Overall great bag!

It is waterproof the laptop compartment is snug and well padded i can walk through any weather without having to worry about anything happening to my laptop. Also the plaid looks pretty sick i get a lot of complements on the bag

I love this backpack! It can carry everything I need for school plus my laptop. This bag is well worth the money. I have not used the bag for hiking yet but I'm sure it will be great. It even has a clip for a camel pack.

I bought this backpack because I have heard about how wonderful North Face bags are and I haven't been disappointed. This bag has a lot of great features and is cool looking. Girls, it is a little big, mainly long, but it's not overly big. My Mac book fits perfectly in the laptop holder, which is a big plus! I definitely recommend this bag.

Great backpack,looks solid and it is gianormous. My last northface backpack lasted five road hard years, it is still in working order, but it was just time for a new one. I am sure this one will get through the next five no problem.

I travel extensively and also carry a lot of large binders and my laptop for work, and this backpack is perfect for both. I wasn't even a backpack type of person, but the Heckler changed that as soon as it arrived -- and Altrec shipped it very quickly. The backpack is incredibly sturdy and feels very durable. I was amazed at just how much it can hold. It fit everything that once took me two large bags to carry -- and I still had room for more! I'm a 5'3" petite female, and though this bag runs on the large side, it's exactly the right size for me and for what I take on trips and to work. I wish I had this backpack when I was back in college, because it would have been much better than the dinky tote bags I used to carry. The straps on Heckler make carrying anything feel like a dream, and the secondary front pockets help keep smaller items organized. I will be using this backpack for years to come, I'm sure.

My son helped carry books for a injured friend at school with his backpack and came home raving about this backpack. Loves the padding on the straps, compact size and laptop sleeve. Great construction all around. He tells me every week how much he loves this pack and he's went through a lot. With the amount of books students carry back and forth, appears to be a great investment

Got this as a gift for someone else - so much room in it - even by college student standards - I have the Northface Aurora Borealis and although I've been happy with it - I'd love one of these for myself now! the straps on the bottom and sides make it look like it's not gigantic and make it more compact for when you're not using the space while it fits just about whatever you could want - textbooks, laptop and a change of clothes at LEAST. overall, I would definitely recommend this

I really like this backpack!! I use it for a high school backpack and it fits all the books I need in it!!! Furthermore, it is very durable and I love the laptop compartment!! However, I wish the side drink pockets were smaller or drawstring because my Propel bottles fall out all the time. Besides that I love this backpack!!!

This backpack was a little larger than I had wanted. I needed something to put my laptop in, and this seemed like it would be perfect, but when I put it on, I felt like I had a turtle shell on my back.

I recently received the Heckler backpack in moonlight ivory and it's great. I use it for school and carrying my laptop everyday. It fits a lot of items but still fits comfortably when I wear it. The side pockets are also nice for water bottles or travel mugs. I'm very happy with the backpack and the site as well.

I use this backpack for school and it's so comfortable considering that I carry a lot of stuff and am at school for up to 12 hours a day. It's super comfortable and can carry A LOT of stuff! The smaller pocket in the front also comes in handy!
Not ideal for a laptop.

I bought this backpack for my 15.4" laptop. I have been using other North Face products but I was not impressed on this backpack. There was no fully separated compartment for laptop and I didn't see enough protection comparing to the ones I checked. The fabric was pretty thin and it may be very durable one but it seems to me too think to carry a laptop. I recommend to check the actual backpack before purchasing it. I just examined pictures and descriptions but that didn't provide me with the whole picture of the product.

It's great. I'm currently in nursing school and need to fit a TON of stuff and the backpack does a good job of fitting it all - I can fit a 3 inch textbook, my laptop, a couple folders, a spiral notebook, a pair of shoes, and a change of clothes. If it were any bigger I'd topple over. It has great support and makes it feel like I'm carrying way less than I am. It looks fab and I love it.
