North Face Isabella Backpack
The backpack is great! I was worried about it being too small, but if you pack it well it can hold a lot! The compartments in the front pocket make it really easy to stay organized! It fits nicely on my back and its not bulky. Truly a great backpack -- provides a lot of support and should last a long time. North Face is an awesome brand!

Perfect for my daughter
Bought this when she started high school last Fall. She's 5'5", very slim, and it fits her body well. Of course it's filled to the brim, but she seems to fit it all in, including a lunch bag. Older daughter who's a senior has another NF backpack I purchased for her almost 4 years ago and it's in great shape and will be heading to college in the fall.

perfect for me
best for college students who dont carry much. It suits me welll because I dont like carrying more than 1 math/science(they're always huge and heavy) book. I always have my lab booklet, medium binder and lunch with me. I carry some of my clothes for gym sometimes. I tried adding a huge chemistry book, and it's still feel fine on my back. it's a great everyday backpack. I just dont like the belt that much since im not really using it so it's always just hanging around and it's hassle whenever i put my bag on the floor, hope they could change it to really detachable.

Good for College
So I have a huge problem with lugging all of my books around campus. With 6 books in my backpack last year i started to get back pain. Determined to keep my back in better shape i bought this bookbag because the reviews said it was smaller than the rest of the North Face bags. I was very scared at first because when it came in the mail I doubted anything would fit in it. I was wrong!! While this doesn't hold 5-6 books, it can hold 3 books and 2 or 3 notesbooks. This is great if you have time between classes to switch up the books in your bag or if you're not taking tons of classes. I love this book bag and its great and doesn't hang down to my butt. A lot of people didn't recommend this for college, but I'm a senior biology chemistry major and this works perfectly for me. Plus, at altrec.com's prices, this is a real steal!

Isabella day backpack
I bought this backpack for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She uses it for school. The colors were exactly what she was looking for. She is a senior in high school and has received many positive comments about it. LOVE IT!!!!!

Best investment ever!

North Face backpack
great backpack. I am going to be traveling for 23 days next week and can take everything on planes I need in this backpack with ease of overhead or under seat storage. Perfect size and right amount of compartments. Also, I live in Colorado so backpack will be great for day hikes.

Great Backpack
The North Face Isabella backpack is a great backpack. It has many compartments for organization and storage. I am a college student and it helps me stay organized for all my classes. I can fit my laptop in it inside it's case. It fits my back very well. I am a small girl (5 feet, 100 lbs) and it's perfect for my size. This is a great women's backpack.

Looks and durability
This is a great looking backpack. It is durable and small enough for someone with a small build. The only drawback is that it doesn't work for larger laptops. So you might opt for another model it your laptop has a larger screen.

Great bag
This is a great option for girls. The fit and size are perfect for my 5'0 daughter. She should be able to carry it comfortably for the next several years. The interior is roomy enough for a laptop and books., plus a light sweater. It is perfect for school and after-school activities, no extra bag necessary. There are tons of pockets and compartments on the inside and outside. The bag is durable and great quality. The colors (we have brown/purple/hot pink) are vibrant and rich.

I don't think I've ever loved a backpack, but I love this one. Carries everything I need to to for school or short trips. Very comfortable fit and really good quality like all North Face products. I'm really happy that I bought it!

Great Bag!
This bag is perfect for what I need. It is the right size to take on my trip to The Azores islands because I can carry on Inter-Island flights! I haven't used it yet but it looks like it will be perfect. Lots of compartments and zippers. I like the design too. Not so big that I will cram it so full and make it too heavy!

Good backpack
I have been using a basic jansport pack for the last few years during my undergraduate career. I always had back pain, and I decided finally that it was my backpack that caused it. I purchased this because it was designed (supposedly) for females and I already knew I trusted the brand. Already, in just a few days of its use, I have no back pain at night anymore. While I have not had it very long and cannot truly comment on its durability and quality, it SEEMS to be very well constructed and as if it will last for the entirety of my graduate studies, if not further.
I highly recommend this product. It's worth the higher cost.

I am a college student, and wanted a durable, quality backpack. This works great for me. My laptop fits in it just right and I am able to carry books along with my computer together. Many little areas for stuff. The best feature I think is the zippers! GREAT BUY!

Great Backpack
I recently purchased this backpack for college. I wanted something durable and stylish. This backpack is both! It is extremely durable, has plenty of space for a laptop (under 17") and books. There are also several small pockets for convenient storage. The size is PERFECT. I am a smaller woman and did not want a huge backpack to carry around. I love this backpack and would recommend it for any activity, especially school!

I love it!
I bought the backpack for college and its the perfect size. I really appreciate that the back has some padding on it so I don't have to deal with stuff poking me in the back. I haven't really used it that much, but it looks like it will hold up for a long time to me.

GREAT PRODUCT
This backpack is great! I will be able to hold all of my school supplies. I'm more on the shorter end in junior high so this backpack is perfect! It's not too bulky and big on the frame like other backpacks. The color (utterly pink) was a little darker when I got it, but it's still fine.
To conclude, I'm really satisfied the purchase! :)

It's so comfortable
I bought one for myself last year and my daughter in college "borrowed" it.......and refused to return it!
I just bought another for myself. It is perfect for travel-fits under the airplane seat- has pockets for passports, glasses, keys etc.
and small enough to use all day while on the road.
It is very comfortable....definitely made for a female.

Love This Backpack!
The Isabella Daypack Backpack is perfect for daily use. Being a girl at only 5'4", I wanted a backpack that would fit nicely on my back without feeling too bulky or irritating. The previous backpack I had was a little too big, and would sit in a place such that it would annoy me while I was walking. The Isabella does not do that at all. It fits snugly around my shoulders and back, and feels very comfortable while I'm walking from my car to school and around the campus.
It's also just the right size to take to school and fit your laptop and school supplies in. I currently use it for school, and can fit a lot more inside of it than I had expected. What I especially like about it are the compartments inside the large zipped space where I can place my laptop and loose-leaf papers that my professors give me so that they don't get crumpled and wrinkled. It may not be the right backpack to fit all of your belongings for a weekend trip, but it definitely is sturdy and compensates with the smaller size and snug fit. There are also various buckles around the sides of the backpack for size-adjustment in case you needed to stuff a lot in there one day.
I also love the color that I chose! I got the moonlight ivory/polar blue, and it really is nice color (for girls especially). I used to have the plain black, blue, and dark green backpacks, and it got a little boring. This color is not your typical plain black or blue backpack, and you definitely want something a little more unique for a day backpack.
I would highly recommend this backpack for day-to-day use...I really love it!

I just love it!!!
At last, I received my dream backpack. I have used the North Face backpack for a long time, and this one is the best. First of all, I love the color, purple. Mostly, the North Face backpacks are somewhat sporty; but not this one. It looks very active and cute at the same time. As for weight and size, it is just perfect for one-day trip. Even my laptop fits in the bag. Best of all, this purple one was on huge sale, so I just paid less than the other packs with different colors. Great deal!!! Don't miss it.

Nice Bag but can't fit too much...
This is a nice quality bag if you don't have much to carry. I bought this for my daughter for school. After I put the books and binders in and I can't fit a sweatshirt anymore. I wish this backpack can extended out a little more so it can fit more stuff. I should have read the dimension more careful. I ended up returning it.

Pretty nice backpack
I just got Isabella Daypack Backpack (Bordeaux Red). The color is cool. It's really pretty. I'm sure that girls must like it. It's lightweight and comfortably hold. The size is everage and the room is not very large, so it's suitable for school girls who don't want to carry heavy things.

Terrific design
Backpack has ideal shape for women. Lots of pockets with zippers so things don't get lost, many that are mesh.

Perfect Lightweight backpack!
I absolutely love this backpack. The size is prefect. I want something that can hold a laptop a few books and binders without being rediculously bulky and uncomfortable. Even at full capacity this backpack is durable and comfortable to haul around campus. It even fits my oversize laptop! I also love the back for the comfortable support it provides, definitely does'nt hold my full load of books and supplies ,but it's perfect for what I want to use it for and worth the price!

Great backpack!
I am a college student and needed a backpack for school. Before I purchased this bag I read some customer reviews and was worried it would be too small but it fits everything I need, a laptop, books and notebooks. I think it's great! I ordered it in moonlight ivory and the only negative thing is that the straps aren't black like the picture, they're tan and white. That was my only complaint. Sturdy, comfortable, worth the price.

A Winner for Women in the TNF Isabella
I did a lot of searching for a pack for women's shape. I tried on a lot, too. I was surprised that I liked the Isabella, for the packs I was thinking about were a lot more expensive. I tried the Recon, Surge and Bandwidth but they were too big. Kelty didn't have enough compartments and Dakine was too showy for me. I really do like North Face products. The Isabella works very well for short women. The straps are nicely padded and do not hurt when there is a lot of books/stuff inside. The pack itself is very roomy w/ lots of compartments! I am happy with my pack purchase.

It has many places to put things and be organized.
It is larger than I thought it was going to be. The back is very stiff like stiff cardboard and isn't as flexible as most backpacks usually are. I was disappointed and didn't think it measured up to what the reviews said about it.

Great!
I bought this for grad school. I have a bad back and carrying around an over-sized shoulderbag was killing my back. This backpack is definitely made for women- you can tell by the size and placement of the straps. It makes carrying heavier loads much easier. It will also be great when traveling!

I have just gotten this backpack 2 weeks ago and so far it's one of the best backpacks I've ever had! It looks small at first, but all my belongings fit in there(: It's very light and it doesn't weigh you down. It fits all my books and binders. Great bag but small
Beautifully constructed, lots of delightful pockets, but just will not get everything I need for school inside. I'm a grad student so that includes a laptop, notebook, and gym clothes (sneakers). This is a great bag if you're a very light packer but otherwise I'd upgrade to a bigger model. The bag is nicely designed for the female torso. The bungee cord strap is black and white striped even though it appears mostly black in the pictures.

Great Quality.
I purchased this backpack as a Christmas present for my mother. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. From what I can tell, it looks to be constructed very well and should be very comfortable. It's on the somewhat smaller size, so I would not recommend this for academic use, especially with a load of books. The colors were slightly darker than pictured, but I can say this is a negative. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Cute, but too small!
This backpack is adorable but it is too small! I am in high school and it doesn't fit many books, i put two books in, and it's already loaded! I wouldn't recommend this bag for school. I'm somewhat disappointed

Best backpack ever!
I bought the Isabella to replace a favorite denim backpack that was getting worn out: Broken zipper, frayed pockets, holes. It was hard to give up. The Isabella has plenty of room and is very comfortable and stylish. I'm sure it's going to last a very long time.

handy, pretty, very good quality, but small
I love the look of it. However, it is small for carrying lots of books, but that's what you get with a pretty backpack, in my opinion. I don't have to carry large books around everywhere, because my classes are solely lecture and research paper based. For those who need to carry around lots of books, DO NOT get this backpack. If you do, get moonlight ivory, it's sooo pretty (prettier than in the picture I think, I was pleasantly surprised when I got it)

Excellent More Compact Backpack.
This is a great size for biking to work, will hold handbag (most) and change of clothes, lunch and a water bottle. my daughter, whom has to carry all her books during school as they have no lockers for students, could not fit all her materials in it. We exchanged it for the Heckler NF for that reason alone. She loved the color, size and comfortable fit!

Too small for college!
This is a great backpack overall for small trips or for a student in jr. high or maybe high school. But it's WAY TOO SMALL for a college student. I'm a nursing major and have tons of huge books that this teeny tiny backpack just couldn't fit. However, I love the water bottle holders, thick padded shoulder straps, the several compartments to keep things organized, and just the overall style. Totally comfy to wear as long as there's not a lot of stuff in it.

Just too small for school
Nice pack if you are looking for something a bit smaller. I carry 5-6 text books with notebooks and binders and this just won't hold it all. Love North Face, but this isn't going to work! Was returned the next day.

Not what i expected
I was going to use this for school i loved how it looked but it was way to small. i could barely fit two books in it. also i ordered the moonlight ivory color and when it came it looked completely different from the picture. its fine for carrying around small stuff but definitely wouldn't recommend for school and its also pretty expensive for what it is..

Great Item!
It is often very hard to find a back pack that fits a womans body well and not put a lot of extra weight on us! I saw this product and immediately fell in love. Not only because of the great look and awesome color selections, but also because of the way the bag was designed to fit a womens body specifically. I have back & hip problems and with this backpack full of everything I need I still feel great after a couple hours of hiking or biking with it on. This is a great bag for a great price!
