the greatest backpack ever!!!

i purchased the isabella backpack for my daughter returning to college. she absolutely loves it! she says it's actually comfortable and carries everything she needs.

I am a college student and needed a backpack for school. Before I purchased this bag I read some customer reviews and was worried it would be too small but it fits everything I need, a laptop, books and notebooks. I think it's great! I ordered it in moonlight ivory and the only negative thing is that the straps aren't black like the picture, they're tan and white. That was my only complaint. Sturdy, comfortable, worth the price.
A Winner for Women in the TNF Isabella

I did a lot of searching for a pack for women's shape. I tried on a lot, too. I was surprised that I liked the Isabella, for the packs I was thinking about were a lot more expensive. I tried the Recon, Surge and Bandwidth but they were too big. Kelty didn't have enough compartments and Dakine was too showy for me. I really do like North Face products. The Isabella works very well for short women. The straps are nicely padded and do not hurt when there is a lot of books/stuff inside. The pack itself is very roomy w/ lots of compartments! I am happy with my pack purchase.
It has many places to put things and be organized.

It is larger than I thought it was going to be. The back is very stiff like stiff cardboard and isn't as flexible as most backpacks usually are. I was disappointed and didn't think it measured up to what the reviews said about it.

I bought this for grad school. I have a bad back and carrying around an over-sized shoulderbag was killing my back. This backpack is definitely made for women- you can tell by the size and placement of the straps. It makes carrying heavier loads much easier. It will also be great when traveling!

I have just gotten this backpack 2 weeks ago and so far it's one of the best backpacks I've ever had! It looks small at first, but all my belongings fit in there(: It's very light and it doesn't weigh you down. It fits all my books and binders. I love it and I hope I will keep it for a very long period of time.
lightweight, great for a short hike.

I love this bookbag, it is waterproof and it has a lot of pockets to hold your stuff and now I am ordering another one...Highly satisfy.

Beautifully constructed, lots of delightful pockets, but just will not get everything I need for school inside. I'm a grad student so that includes a laptop, notebook, and gym clothes (sneakers). This is a great bag if you're a very light packer but otherwise I'd upgrade to a bigger model. The bag is nicely designed for the female torso. The bungee cord strap is black and white striped even though it appears mostly black in the pictures.
Great backpack...I recommend to all ladies.

The backpack is perfect! Great size, great color. I originally ordered a color my daughter didn't like as much; Altrec had a new backpack to me within three days, one of which was a Sunday! I am very impressed with your company's service.

However, some pockets deep inside the bag is hard to reach if you already placed your labtop inside the bag. Guess you just have to plan ahead:)

I purchased this backpack as a Christmas present for my mother. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. From what I can tell, it looks to be constructed very well and should be very comfortable. It's on the somewhat smaller size, so I would not recommend this for academic use, especially with a load of books. The colors were slightly darker than pictured, but I can say this is a negative. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

It is really supportive, so that it makes a really heavy load feel like nothing. It also has a ton of compartments for anything and everything.

This backpack is exactly as described - the right size and familiar North Face quality. Based on the durability of my children's North Face backpacks, I expect this one to last a long time.

This backpack is adorable but it is too small! I am in high school and it doesn't fit many books, i put two books in, and it's already loaded! I wouldn't recommend this bag for school. I'm somewhat disappointed

I bought the Isabella to replace a favorite denim backpack that was getting worn out: Broken zipper, frayed pockets, holes. It was hard to give up. The Isabella has plenty of room and is very comfortable and stylish. I'm sure it's going to last a very long time.

My daughter is a freshman in college and needed a backpack that could fit a few books/folders plus her laptop. She is petite and Isabella was recommended as being compact yet spacious. She didn't want a large 'pack that would make her look like a turtle. She loves it!!

I love the look of it. However, it is small for carrying lots of books, but that's what you get with a pretty backpack, in my opinion. I don't have to carry large books around everywhere, because my classes are solely lecture and research paper based. For those who need to carry around lots of books, DO NOT get this backpack. If you do, get moonlight ivory, it's sooo pretty (prettier than in the picture I think, I was pleasantly surprised when I got it)

This is a great size for biking to work, will hold handbag (most) and change of clothes, lunch and a water bottle. my daughter, whom has to carry all her books during school as they have no lockers for students, could not fit all her materials in it. We exchanged it for the Heckler NF for that reason alone. She loved the color, size and comfortable fit!

my last bakcpack was too big for me. Then i got this one and i thought it would be too small but it fits like 3 textboks and a big binder plus copybooks! i love it!!!!

This is a great backpack overall for small trips or for a student in jr. high or maybe high school. But it's WAY TOO SMALL for a college student. I'm a nursing major and have tons of huge books that this teeny tiny backpack just couldn't fit. However, I love the water bottle holders, thick padded shoulder straps, the several compartments to keep things organized, and just the overall style. Totally comfy to wear as long as there's not a lot of stuff in it.

Nice pack if you are looking for something a bit smaller. I carry 5-6 text books with notebooks and binders and this just won't hold it all. Love North Face, but this isn't going to work! Was returned the next day.

I was going to use this for school i loved how it looked but it was way to small. i could barely fit two books in it. also i ordered the moonlight ivory color and when it came it looked completely different from the picture. its fine for carrying around small stuff but definitely wouldn't recommend for school and its also pretty expensive for what it is..
